first time here. Staff r very courteous & the view is very good as it is the sea, gorgeous. well, for the room - clean, spacious and comfy especially the bed. Juz one thing to say, its floor parquet. Yup, this is not a new hotel, that's why its flooring has worn off. Really not nice to hv yr bare feet stepping on it. There shld maintain this diligently. Breakfast is fine, but not like wow. At the hotel, just cross a bridge from it, u can access its wonderful beach,. So, i had a good stay here.

“Above average”
⭐ Disappointing Stay – Expected More Honestly, I expected more from DoubleTree by Hilton Penang, given its reputation and room rates. Breakfast was disappointing, the bed and pillows were too soft for my liking, and the check-in queue was quite long. Even the basic room amenities were not properly checked, as the conditioner had already run out on Day 1. The only things I really liked were the shower gel and shampoo! Overall, the stay was below my expectations. Nothing particularly terrible, but certainly not the experience I had in mind when booking a hotel under the Hilton name. Hope management can look into these areas and improve.

“The best hotel”
I would really recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Everything is a chef kiss! All the staff are very friendly and helpful, from the front desk, housekeeper, cafe and everywhere in the hotel. The hotel is very clean. One thing that lack is if you want to the beach you have to cross the road by the overpass provided and you have to climb up and down before you reach the beach. Not really recommended for those with infants and old folks. For the breakfast, you will not be upset at all. They always top up all the foods even it is 30mins left! Overall, I give 9.5/10.
