“A once grand hotel now jaded”
A fine entrance lobby and grand staircase but beyond that the rooms are jaded and in dire need of a major refurbishment. There are not enough electrical sockets, the bathroom is difficult to use and needs a redesign and the decoration is minimal. In the plus side, there are plenty of lifts and maintenance is quick once requested.

“A 4-night, 5-day stay in the dreamy Mae Hong Son.”
I went to Mae Hong Son for volunteer work and it was truly beautiful. The views and facilities of Imperial Mae Hong Son Resort, along with the staff's smiles and service, were pure healing and relaxation. The resort, which captures the charm of Mae Hong Son, is one I will definitely visit whenever I come to Mae Hong Son. Thank you. ^.^

“Duangtawan Hotel, a landmark in Chiang Mai.”
I stayed at Duangtawan Hotel on the first and last nights of my trip to Mae Hong Son. The breakfast at Duangtawan was truly exquisite, and the view of the unnamed Doi Inthanon peak from the 24th-floor restaurant was simply spectacular. I still can't forget the sight I couldn't see from the second-floor restaurant when I stayed one night in May. The mountain was so beautiful that next time I'm in Chiang Mai I really want to visit Doi Inthanon National Park. Aren't Chiang Mai's charms only just beginning? It seems like a place with so many attractions you couldn't see them all even if you lived here for a month.

Very bad experience. The washroom was unhygienic, smelled strongly of bleach and fittings were not working properly. Basic facilities like toothbrush and toothpaste were not provided, and the AC temperature could not be adjusted. Room cleanliness and water quality were also poor. Not value for money.
