Dusit Thani Pattaya

Wow. If you want great service, a well appointed clean room with a great view of Pattaya, Dusit Thani is for you. We went on a Saturday night for the buffet and I can honestly say that it is the buffet is one of the best I have been to not only in Thailand but in the world for the price. I will certainly revisit Dusit Thani in the future.

A Good Choice for a Family Stay Dusit Thani Pattaya is a nice option for a family getaway, with facilities and an atmosphere suitable for spending quality time together. Although the property is quite old, it is generally well maintained. The breakfast is good, with a decent variety of food to start the day. However, the service could be better, as it did not quite meet my expectations for a hotel of this level. Overall, a pleasant place for a family stay, but there is room for improvement in service.

Dusit Thani Pattaya is always our family’s first choice whenever we visit Pattaya. The service is excellent, and the delicious breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. We find it great value for money, and the location near Terminal 21 is very convenient. The hotel has a lovely, fresh scent that creates a welcoming atmosphere. Although some rooms are a little dated, they are clean and comfortable. We always enjoy our stay and look forward to returning.

It was really good experience for us

Fantastic beachfront location with Terminal 21 right at the main entrance, so very convenient. The facilities are maintained, but there are some issues like worn carpets and iffy switches—still within an acceptable range. The club lounge food was delicious both evening and morning.

I had a comfortable and enjoyable 10-day stay at the hotel... right next to Pattaya Beach, the view is fantastic and the pool facilities are excellent. A wonderful hotel I’d love to visit again.

Dusit Thani is in a great location — you step outside and there’s Terminal 21 Mall to explore, and if you walk a bit more there are lots of massage shops, outlets, and Big C, so you don’t need to take a car. The pool is large and a lot of fun. Unfortunately the rooms are a bit worn, and the hotel seems to lack a sense of security. Toward the beach area (next to the tennis courts) things look neglected and uncared for, with no guards controlling access. A bunch of non-guests wander through the hotel, some jumping into the pool with their pants on and walking around with beers — no staff came to deal with it. The lobby is cluttered with many people who are clearly not guests. That makes the whole place feel unsafe. When you go swimming you have to worry about your belongings on the sunbeds. Even European guests have to leave someone on the shore to watch their bags, afraid someone will grab them and run. This is really not acceptable and prevents guests from enjoying the water in peace. I suggest there should be staff managing access to the beach areas, or at least a key-card gate so only those with room cards can enter. The front beach is overgrown with plants and littered with trash, so the pool is the only place to swim — there isn’t a beach you can comfortably use. Breakfast is pretty good with many choices, though unfortunately there are no vegetarian options.

The location is great and the lagoon pool is very beautiful. The grounds are spacious, so it’s lovely for strolling around the resort, and it’s also nice for going out to the sea to play. The private beach is cleaner than Pattaya Beach and was great for our child to play in the sand. The only drawback was that there was no separate shower stall in the bathroom, so you have to shower in the bathtub area.
