Staff is polite and helping. Room was neat and clean. They also have locker storage facilities.

There's a direct train from Schiphol Airport every 30 minutes, taking you straight there. However, there are no early-morning trains, so you’ll need to change trains for very early flights. As others have mentioned, there isn’t a hairdryer in the room, so you need to rent one at reception each time. The first staff member told me to return it within two hours, but another staff member — perhaps because I rented it late at night — told me to return it the next morning, so I didn’t find this too inconvenient. I stayed for a week and wanted to use laundry facilities, but the laundromat was about a 20-minute bus ride away. I thought that might be inconvenient, but on the way there I passed one of the Netherlands’ characteristic open bridges, and I was lucky enough to see it opening while I was headed to the laundromat, which was a nice bonus 😊 I’m vegan and sometimes vegetarian, and there are several vegan-friendly restaurants and bakeries nearby. It was also great to have an organic supermarket, EKO PLAZA, close by — and an Albert Heijn supermarket too! As for the facilities, there were a few design inefficiencies and some wasted space where lights were positioned oddly. But the bed was very comfortable, the soundproofing was good, and the view from the window area was pleasant.

This hotel is very well located near Zaandam train station, which makes it convenient for getting around. Since it is right in the city center, there are also plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The room I booked was small, but comfortable and perfectly fine for a short stay.

Disliked: Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The room and hotel were not clean, and we found what appeared to be bedbugs, which made us extremely uncomfortable staying there. The bathroom also had a strong unpleasant smell, and the floors were dirty. The inside of the elevator also looked unsafe and poorly maintained. We were also disappointed with the attitude of one of the staff members. When we asked about a hair dryer during check-in, the response was, “You booked a 2-star hotel,” which came across as very rude and unhelpful. Because of the bedbug issue, we did not feel comfortable staying at the hotel and had to find another hotel at midnight. This was extremely inconvenient and stressful, especially while travelling. To be fair, the hotel did acknowledge the situation and provided us with a full refund, which we appreciate. However, the overall experience was still very unpleasant, and we would not choose to stay here again.

Its not a 3 star hotel, may be less than this, The hotel give you only washroom, room and bed. There is no other facilities such as coffee maker, microvalve, small fridge, at least it should be inside room. There is no telephone to call to reception for help. Yes the amount they charged for 3 star hotel.

Liked: Handy for train station. and shops Room was basic but comfortable. Great view.

Liked: - the views from the triple room was great (L shaped windows) - it was very near Zaandam station - shopping areas just downstairs - location is in between the windmills and Amsterdam city (buses to Zaans Schans and Volendam runs every 30 mins and trains to Central was very often) - clean and comfortable beds, clean towels

Disliked: Would have loved at least a kettle or microwave to heat up some drinking water
