I didn't expect to find such a dirty, rundown guesthouse in Hanoi. The photos of the hotel are just for illustration, folks. The room was ugly, old, and dirty, even though the exterior looked fairly well-kept.
Arrived and was turned away. I booked through Agoda and called to confirm it was fine. When I arrived they told me to wait 15 minutes while they prepared the room. After I parked my car they said there were no rooms left. They kicked me out. Extremely frustrating.
The room was nothing like the photos. It was damp and moldy, and the bathroom had a very strong unpleasant smell. I was genuinely shocked when I checked in, so I decided to check out immediately, even though I had to forfeit the payment. The room was simply uninhabitable.

Multiple issues on experience with this place. 1_Some room have a smell of dump and mould. I had to ask them to change my room. 2_TV didn't work either. 3_ I made duplicate booking and paid twice for the same room and the refuse to give me a refund. They told Agoda not to refund me and said I can have 2 rooms!! 4_ I should have read the Google reviews before booking this. They have fake reviews on Agoda

The room rate shown on Agoda was one thing, but the price at checkout was different. The room had cockroaches and the bathroom was cramped. I’ve rented many places before but I’ve never encountered a slummy, deceptive place like this one.
Liked: It was very cheap for what you got.
Disliked: When I arrived they asked me to cancel my booking on booking.com, I have no idea why. We then entered the room to find out the TV was broken, when we mentioned this to the staff they said they already knew and would fix it, in three weeks they didn't look at it once. The bed was extremely hard and the pillow very soft, making it impossible to have a good night's sleep.
