El Pacifico Hotel

Liked: Quite, nice personnel, nice breakfast.

Disliked: For the price, I was surprised that it did not even have soap or shower gel, telephone for reception, TV, normal things a hotel for that price should have. The water went out twice or purposely shot down. The man who opened the garage at 2 am when we arrived, was the same receptionist, Gartner. I think the owner tried to save himself some bucks and exploit employees. If the owner sees this, please consider that Nicaraguan people have labor rights and even if humble people needs his job to survive, it does not mean you treat them as slaves. That's a thing I am not going quite on. If nobody says anything, nothing is going to change. while guests pay in Dollars, the employees have a miserable payment in Córdobas that do not even go according to the currency changes.

Liked: The first man at fron desk was welcomed informed us about things around Everything went well until he said my reservation through booking was with out a ac and San Juan during spring closes to Easter, it’s hot and 2 breakfast and Check out day the lady was taking very long time she said she has D too many breakfast to serve she was alone the we left with out breakfast because we had to kept going to Matagalpa l North of Nicaragua like from San Juan 6 to 7 hours so we left without eating breakfast but the lady was friendly and the day before was delicious.

Disliked: That there was No Airconditioning in the economy or my room. There was not too many people they could do an upgrade, but not to mention the last day they were taking too long to have breakfast work. I have to go early to Matagalpa so we left and we did not have breakfast.

Liked: Location and garden

Disliked: The rooms has no ventilation. Very basic!

Disliked: We stayed here recently and unfortunately were disappointed with the condition of the room. The beds were small and quite uncomfortable, and the pillows were unusual — they appeared to be plastic-wrapped inside the pillowcase, which made noise and were not comfortable to sleep on. The room itself looked very worn. The floor appeared to be painted plywood with visible gaps between the planks, and you could actually see below the room into what seemed like a storage area. There were also cracks in the ceiling where daylight was visible, which made it feel like insects could easily enter. We did experience ants in the bathroom and saw other bugs during our stay. The bathroom itself was fine, but overall the room felt old and poorly maintained. Another issue was the lack of air conditioning. Some of the listings showed AC, so we assumed it would be included. However, the room only had fans, and it was very warm at night, which made sleeping difficult. Overall, this stay did not meet our expectations. We stayed at similarly priced accomodations in san juan del sur which were much better value. Also, the location is very poor.

Disliked: Stairs were a safety hazard, staff was awful, they take 3 hours to clean the room but somehow don't clean under the beds, rooms description are not properly set up, the photos on the site are from the most expensive room, which is far from the average room at the place, some rooms are basically falling apart, towels are extremely rough, like sand paper, and the mosquitos eat you alive.

Liked: We did like the breakfast and we also enjoyed the pool

Disliked: The bathroom was ok, I would have preferred it to be cleaner.

Liked: The hotel is in a very bad shape

Disliked: The staff is very unfriendly. Highly recommend to avoid this place!

Liked: Guy in front desk at night shift wanted to charge me $20 for our dog, bad mud dude, don know how to use the pos to pay w credit card
