Liked: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We absolutely loved this place in Ella! 🔥 Everything was amazing! The location is incredible, with breathtaking views of the mountains and surrounding nature. It’s the kind of place where you just want to sit back, relax, and enjoy every moment. The staff were exceptionally kind, friendly, and welcoming, making us feel comfortable from the very beginning. The food was delicious, the cocktails were fantastic, and the overall atmosphere was just perfect. A beautiful location, wonderful people, great food and drinks — everything you need for an unforgettable stay in Ella. We enjoyed every minute and would definitely come back! Highly recommended! ❤️‍🔥

Liked: Location was great. The rooms, pool and pool bar were brilliant. The staff were exceptional and very attentive

Liked: We got much fitter here over three days walking up the steps to our room at the highest level of the property. The staff were exceptionally professional, warm and attentive. Particularly Akash and Manager Suranga. They helped us out with IT issues we had during our stay. The breakfasts were very nutritious and set us up for the day. Staff accommodated by preparing breakfast for us for our early checkout at 6:30am. Kavidu and his team / colleagues were so helpful and quietly attentive to our needs during breakfast. Our room was calm and bed was comfortable. It’s very close to town, a downhill walk into town and uphill walk back to hotel. The Views of Ella and Little Adam’s Peak were so relaxing from our balcony. The availability of umbrellas outside our room was a nice touch, given that it can rain here unpredictably. We had lighting issues in our room upon arrival which were promptly dealt with and a roof leak during heavy rain, which again was rectified within 24-36 hours. Staff were all very attentive and proactive without exception. The Ayurvedic Soa treatment was relaxing and invigorating. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the pool and bar area this time unfortunately.

Disliked: The location on a hill, without elevators, may not suit people living with disabilities. Face cloths/ face towels would be a nice addition in the bathroom.

Disliked: There are so many steps. Getting from the Main Street to the actual hotel is a 500m 1:2 hike and then the rooms are stacked up the hill. Definitely not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

1. The hotel as a whole is very nice, the room facilities are good, there is a balcony, and the view is nice. 2. The biggest problem is that you have to climb a very long, steep slope to get to the hotel. The hotel is halfway up, cars can’t drive up, and staff won’t come down to help carry luggage, so we had to drag our heavy suitcases up ourselves — exhausting! Once you arrive at the hotel, staff can use a rail system to send luggage up to the rooms, but you still have to walk up the stairs yourself. There are over 170 steps in total, which is quite tiring. 3. The pool is too small to actually swim in; you can only soak in it like a hot tub.

Liked: Absolutely perfect stay, beautiful hotel on a great location with amazing views. Staff is extremely kind and helpful, overall hospitality is really great. The heated pool next to the bar is fantastic to relax and have a swim. Would recommend to anyone visiting Ella!

Disliked: Nothing
