Ella Elegance View

Så flot udsigt, beliggende højt over Ella væk fra støjen nede i centrum. Lidt svært at finde stedet

Liked: The owners were very friendly though communication was difficult due to language barriers. The breakfast provided was nice. It’s a quiet place.

Disliked: The room and bathroom were quite moldy and the way to the room rather improvised. There was only very little water coming out of the shower. Price for value wasn’t ok.

A lovely family-run stay with very warm and helpful hosts. The family was extremely sweet, kind, and attentive to all our needs, which made the stay feel very comfortable and welcoming. The room and common areas were very clean and well maintained. The only thing to note is that the property is located on a very steep hill, so guests should be prepared for that, especially if walking. Other than that, everything was great. I stayed for two nights and felt it was excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend for those looking for a clean, homely stay with caring hosts.

Liked: The staff was both friendly and helpful. They provided a large, tasty breakfast and provided laundry service upon request.

Disliked: This property is not a hotel, but rather two rooms in a private residence converted into guest rooms. The property is located at the end of a very long path which was accessible only by tuk tuk. Our tour guide was not able to drive to the property, so we had to pay a tuk tuk driver every time we wanted to come and go from the property. (A hidden cost of $10 per day for our group of 4.) The property did not have a fireplace or a tv, as stated in the description. Finally, the property requires payment in cash, which is not mentioned in the booking information and was not mentioned to us during our stay. We were not prepared for this, adding a hassle at the end of the stay.
