Disliked: Food should more versatile

Liked: Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel, especially for couples or smaller groups. The highlight of the property is undoubtedly the view. The patio offers a breathtaking panorama of Little Adam's Peak and the surrounding Ella landscape, making it a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The room itself was clean and generally comfortable. As a nice surprise, we were given three beds instead of the two-bed arrangement we had expected, which worked well for our family of four. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and the hotel's location is another major advantage. It is within walking distance of the main area of Ella while still being surrounded by beautiful gardens filled with flowers, creating a peaceful atmosphere. We even had the chance to watch a couple of wedding events during our stay, which added to the experience.

Disliked: There were, however, a few minor drawbacks. While the advertised room size may include the large patio area, the indoor space felt somewhat limited for a family of four. With three beds in the room, there was not much space left for seating or moving around comfortably. For two guests, the room would feel perfectly adequate, but families may find it a bit cramped. The beds were generally fine, although one of the additional beds was less comfortable than the others. The breakfast was decent, offering enough variety to start the day, though it was not particularly memorable. I also noticed a housekeeping oversight upon arrival. Although the room appeared clean, the toilet had not been cleaned properly and there were visible hairs left behind. It was a small detail, but first impressions matter and it slightly affected our initial experience. Despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay overall. The combination of the excellent location, friendly staff, beautiful gardens, and especially the spectacular view from the patio makes this hotel a good choice when visiting Ella. The view alone is something we will remember for a long time.

Liked: We had a wonderful stay at Ella Flower Garden Resort. The room was comfortable, the food was amazing, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Sampath Dissanayake and the Restaurant Manager, for their excellent hospitality and outstanding service. Highly recommended!

Liked: The view from the hotel and balcony is absolutely stunning, and we caught a breathtaking sunset. The buffet breakfast at the restaurant is also very varied. Lalith at the restaurant was incredibly welcoming; he told us all about the honey of local produce in Ella.

Disliked: Renovation work starts after 8 AM, so there will be some noise.

Liked: The location is excellent, with easy walking access to the Nine Arch Bridge and Little Adam’s Peak. Our room had a wonderful view, and we could enjoy a full view of Ella Rock from the balcony, which was one of the highlights of our stay. The hotel also has a nicely designed garden that adds to the overall atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and Lalith in particular provided warm and attentive service throughout our stay. Overall, this is a great place to stay in Ella, especially for travelers who value a convenient location and beautiful views.

Liked: We booked a twin room for me and my sister. The room was large and comfortable, clean and balcony view was amazing. The location was beautiful and convenient at the end/ beginning of the hike trail. Also within a few meters of food and drink took a tuk tuk costing 200 rupees to get to main town for food was a 5 -7 min journey. The views from the hotel room are amazing. Staff are lovely big thank you to Laliith who looked after us. Amazing and friendly staff.

Disliked: So many different sections! Got lost but again was helped by staff. No pool but I hear it’s coming soon can’t wait will be an amazing addition.

Liked: We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Floor Garden Ella. The property has a beautiful, peaceful atmosphere and is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the charm of Ella. A very special thank you to Mr. Camilus and Mr. Raj, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality really stood out. In fact, the entire team deserves recognition—everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. The service was excellent, the accommodation was comfortable and well maintained, and we truly felt looked after throughout our stay. Thank you, Mr. Camilus, Mr. Raj, and the whole Floor Garden Ella team for making our visit so enjoyable. Exceptional hospitality and a truly memorable stay. Highly recommended!
