Ella River Face Inn

Good stay, neat & tidy. The father was excellent he flagged down a bus for us & had an extremely good personality. The bus is opposite the Homestay so it was very easy. 9 Arch etc is away on the opposite side will heed an auto. Restaurants are on the road walk able distance.

The owner’s family was so kind — it was wonderful! As soon as we arrived at the inn, they made us juice from passion fruit grown at their home (free of charge). The meals were cheap and delicious. Mornings spent on the veranda drinking milk tea were perfect. I want to stay here again!

Liked: The owner is very very helpful and taking care of us so much.. very friendly

Liked: Very nice people, really good breakfast and a breathtaking view

First, the host was very warm and welcoming — they brought us tea and coffee and even gave us some home-grown tomatoes. The house is a bit away from Ella City center, but you can catch the local bus to and from the center right outside the door for only 25 rupees. Buses run about every 5 minutes, so transport is pretty convenient. For food, there's an Indian restaurant near the host's place — two vegetable dishes plus rice cost 800 rupees and tasted good. To hike Little Adam's Peak or visit the Nine Arch Bridge you can take the bus to Ella City center and start from there. The house sits on the roadside and there’s a lot of traffic, so it can be noisy; if you’re a light sleeper you should be cautious — we brought earplugs and weren’t affected. The property itself is really beautiful: from the balcony you look out over green trees, a gorge, clouds and mountains. You can’t get enough of the view sitting on that balcony!

Клёвое место с видовым балконом. Удобное расположение. Очень гостеприимный хозяин

I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking comfort, cleanliness, and exceptional service. From the moment of arrival, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request. The rooms were well-maintained, spacious, and equipped with all essential amenities, ensuring a pleasant and relaxing stay.

Location is nice but not for a good stay
