I made a reservation for accommodation on the same day and arrived there, but it was a rainy day, and we were both very exhausted, with my girlfriend even feeling under the weather and quite out of it. When we arrived at the accommodation to check in, there was no one around, and a woman came out from the restaurant. I had already paid the full amount through Agoda, and I thought I just needed to check in, but they asked me to pay the same amount again at that place. We informed them that we had already paid through Agoda, but they insisted that the refund would be processed by a person later and that we needed to pay the same amount here. Since I thought it would be difficult to keep discussing it while leaving my sick girlfriend behind, I decided to just pay with my card, receive the key, and go up. The next day was the day we were returning to Korea, and I was so busy with things like returning the rental car that I couldn't check it thoroughly. After returning to Korea, I checked for a few days and saw that the refund hadn't come through. I contacted customer service, attaching the payment details from Agoda and the receipt for the card payment at the accommodation in an email, but the refund has not been processed for several months now. I was busy and being abroad added to my stress, so I couldn't pay much attention to it. The cost for one night at the accommodation was only about 100,000 won, but if I was going to spend double that, I would have gone for another, better accommodation. I have already given up on the refund, and I just want to advise others not to go there, so I'm submitting this review.

To be straight about it, this is actually a love hotel advertised on Agoda as standard hotel. First of all, the entrance is so nondescript and in a seedy part of the street that our taxi driver questioned whether we had the right address. We had been notified at least by the staff that there would be no-one at check-in at our arrival time, so had to call for a passcode to our door key. Access to the rooms was from a lift at the ground floor of an office building, which absolutely did not look like the entrance as shown in the hotel listing on Agoda. A closer inspection of the lobby photos reveals that they have taken photos for a “Ciao Hotel” and used them to falsely advertise their business. The rest of the photos seem to come from the Thai restaurant next door. There was no security at all to the room floor access, so safety would be potentially an issue. We managed as far as finding the keys to the rooms (which came with complimentary protection, giving us an idea of the real purpose of this hotel) but upon this discovery, decided for our sanity and safety’s sake, we should leave and find someplace else. We’re not sure how this hotel managed to garner so many good reviews, but again, a closer inspection shows that there are repeated reviews from the same person named “Yu” inflating their score. Unfortunately we were only refunded for the two of the three nights we booked, and this was not a cheap hotel. This experience has left us vowing to never use Agoda for booking hotels again, as they just do not carry out their due diligence with the properties they list.

I arrived early in the morning, but the reception was only open from 11 o'clock, so I waited outside.

This sweat room is amazing! Using it completely relaxed me, it felt so good! 👍🏽

Nice stay for 1 night!

I go on international business trips about once a month. First of all, I don't speak any English, and there is no one at the reception. They had a payment error due to their own mistake, but they shift all responsibility to the consumer and only say what they want to say. The accommodation has a strange smell and is a weird hotel that provides condoms.

It's extremely dirty, and the quality of the staff is lacking. I'd rather spend a night sleeping in the park.

Overall, it was great, but unfortunately the air conditioning vent was blowing directly on my head, which wasn't very comfortable.
