Walking distance to the station, there's a family mart near the hotel. Room was clean and there is complimentary tea and coffee provided.

Disliked: It was a bit not clean, bed was there is bug and toilet its not satisfying

It seem they are short-handed. We could see lot of dust in the aircon. The toilet seat cannot secure properly. We had the same square meter for double bed and 3 beds room. For family of 3, there is no space for luggage. I would not recommend family to stay.

Overall stay is good

The price is relatively cheap in Kyoto but not really recommended for a group of three as the triple room size is small that we faced difficulties in opening large luggages. There’re also cleanliness issues such as dust on floor and stains on towels. However, the location is good.

Travelling through Japan, I’ve been blown away by the attention to detail and helpfulness. En hotel has been the exception. First impression was bad, with a charge to check in an hour early despite the room being ready. Then reception didn’t want to call the courier or let us use the phone to call the free number to check on the status of our luggage. After 10 minutes of negotiating they called and said just wait and see. Despite our luggage being late and not showing on location tags. Then the room, mattress on the floor with a metal rod through the middle. Thick dust anywhere slightly covered, the window sill clearly hadn’t been cleaned in months. The air filter itself with a thick layer of dust. We’d wake in the night from the thick dust in the air. WiFi signal was nearly unusable in the room. Curtains too short for window so morning sunlight shines directly in our eyes in bed. It’s a cheap place, I get it, but they’re cutting corners on baseline standards and turning a deliberate blind eye as no one seems to care. You can do better for a similar price for sure.
