Fantastic-Inn Warszawa - Chmielna

Liked: The best part of the stay was getting to know the Colombian woman who cleaned. She was always kind and joyful.

Disliked: 1. Bad plumbing - smelled like a sewer. 2. Bed had no sheet just a white cover and so we bought our own. The bed itself was stained and had springs digging into my joints. 3. It is not accessible - no elevator so be prepared to walk 5 flights with groceries 4. The location: right in the middle of a strip club, dance club, hookah bar, another restaurant, and karaoke. So there was NO PEACE. Not a good night's sleep was available. We woke every morning to slamming bottles, and when we walked the area there was vomit on the street. 5. The people - the people staying there were having threesomes and more (prostitution is legal) but when I played my flute inside of quiet hours, they wrote a threatening note. We called the police but Fantastic Inn did nothing. 6. Abysmal communication - we never once saw or heard from an actual person. So, many people needed help with accessing their keys (even one man was laying outside his door). So we ended up showing people to their rooms, helping with keys, and figuring out which hostel they belonged. 7. When our property (food) was stolen, they just sent a form letter as they always did. I get it if you cant afford a place to stay, but be aware this is not peaceful or managed well.

Liked: Good location, central. For the price it’s okay value

Disliked: Dirty. Kinda sketchy at night, smell of cigarettes engulf the inside. Lack of fresh air

Liked: nothing

Disliked: horrible view, place full of drunks, they didnt once in 10 days clean my room or change my sheets, asked for money instead, i refused to pay on principle

The location is excellent, though of course that also means it’s quite noisy in weekends, bring earplugs! Bathrooms were okay… not dirty exactly but not in particularity good shape either. Ample fridge space though which was nice. Sheets seemed clean however everything smelled a little odd and there were half a dozen fruit flies in the room, a weird cockroach looking thing that I threw out the window, and something (not mosquitoes because the bites are still there three days later) bit me in my sleep even after I switched to using a sleeping bag liner to try to prevent more bites. I hesitate to say bed bugs because I couldn’t find any and the bites aren’t in lines but individually they itch like bedbug bites. Overall it was okay but I probably wouldn’t stay again.

Very affordable with everything you need. Bit complicated getting access, but you will be given instructions.

Liked: Facilities are good

Disliked: There some noise at night

Liked: Good location, comfortable bedroom.

Disliked: There could be trash bins in washrooms.

The worst accomodation I have ever been into my life. The room was clean but the bed was dirty as hell and have bed bugs too and in the lobby it was smelling all the time.. the condition was so bad that I checked out very early
