Liked: All the staff were friendly and kind. We also felt safe walking around the neighborhood at night.

Disliked: The bed wasn’t comfortable for my husband, who is a bigger built American, so we moved to another hotel after one night. It’s an inexpensive hotel and the quality reflects the price.

Liked: Fenti was honestly such a beautiful and peaceful experience. The place has a very authentic Nubian vibe, which makes it feel warm and special from the moment you arrive. The location is amazing, especially if you’re looking for calm, nature, and a real escape from the busy city. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and make sure everything is comfortable. The atmosphere is super relaxing — perfect for disconnecting and enjoying the Nile view. The rooms are simple but clean and cozy, and the whole place has a unique charm. It’s definitely a great option if you want something different, cultural, and peaceful rather than a typical hotel. Overall, really good value for the price and I would definitely come back again also special thanks to mr galal the owner who made everything smooth n easy n arranged picking us up and back to airport freely and he also upgraded our room to better one without us asking..

Liked: It’s a topical Nubian construction. Great outside area. Good colors painting which is not common in the area. Super nice people. Great host and others. We arrived every late and they picked us up for free without any problem and help with information about the area. Organized a tour to Abu Simbel for the next day. Near Nubian Village by TukTuk - just 5 minutes.

Disliked: Mattress is not good. Shower is in the same area of the toilet. Then, all the bathroom gets wet when taking a shower. I wished it could be cleaner in general. I know it is difficult in the area due to the dust.

Liked: A very charming property on a magnificent Nile view. The staff was too friendly, helpful, polite and proactive. we had a complementary round shuttle service from/to the Airport with Mr. Ahmed who was very nice and gentle. The property Manager, Mr, Galal he was so nice and supported us when we asked for the attractions.

Disliked: The site was congested with mosquitos, and the room was very small with uncomfortable bed at all.

Disliked: We could not sleep at all. The AC did not work. It was hot in the room. Mosquitoes were coming in the room biting us all night long flying in our ears buzzing. This was the worst place I have slept in my life. No mosquito nets nothing. We booked a room with 2 twin beds and were given a room with only one bed. Do not stay here unless if you want to be chewed on by mosquitos all night long.

Liked: I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. It’s a nice, quiet place with a beautiful view and very friendly staff. It’s clear that locals enjoy coming here, and the environment is calm and relaxing, perfect for unwinding. However, I did have an issue with the receptionist. She initially seemed unhappy because my booking profile had a different name, and on the second day, while I was trying to relax and read, she repeatedly interrupted me with personal questions and unwanted recommendations. Even after I asked her to stop, she came back again, which made the experience uncomfortable. So, if you can avoid interaction with this receptionist and exclude her from your experience, then the rest of the staff and the atmosphere are wonderful. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway away from the hustle and bustle, this place is definitely recommended.
