FICU PALACE

Liked: Clean, comfortable, and spacious. No complaints!

Liked: The host went above and beyond to help - always available, supportive, and very accommodating. The place was so clean, spacious, and easy to get around. I would definitely stay here if I come back to this town again.

Liked: The communication with Antonio was very easy! The first night we forgot our key in the apartment and we locked ourselves out of it, but the kind neighbor helped us to get in touch with the owner (because my phone was in the apartment too). We loved how the place was furnished, the neighborhood is very quiet and it's a 20 minute walk from the old town. Very easy to find a free parking spot in the street.

Disliked: The bed could've been more comfortable

Liked: Easy communication and convenience for parking

Liked: Spacious apartment

Liked: The place is located in an amazing spot, close to Ortigia, which is 10m walking distance. The place is big and despite the weird layout, I liked it, especially the many balconies.

Disliked: This was the most expensive place we got for our Sicilian trip. I have stayed in many places through out the world: North and Center America, Europe, Africa. When you list your property on a website like B.com you need to be thorough. This is what I missed on my stay, partially covered by the host: 1. Self check-in: this is important, if you want to host American tourists, trust me, no one knows exactly when they'll be there and US people don't use WhatsApp, so think about it. 2. Big towels: we booked for four, I expected four of them, not three. 3. Electric stove: it is not obvious how to operate it, write simple instructions and leave it in the kitchen. 4. kitchenware were hidden below the table, it is not obvious, write it clearly. 5. shower gel: the one we found wasn't suitable for four people and long hair, I prefer saying you need to bring your own rather wasting my time on my first shower with some watered cheap soap. 6. Nice you providing places where to hang on the balcony my wet bath suit, but you need to give more than just 2 clips to hang the clothes which ended up falling on the street and be completely dirty. They are all small things, but when you pay more, you don't want to lose time during the stay texting the host for each item, it is something that needs to be thought through, as I said earlier. I am going to still give you a good rating given how nice the host was during our stay, but these things add up and leave you a mixed feeling about the place.
