Franceschi Park Hotel

While we love the breakfast and staff, we think the room is just getting too old. Second time here and we got a room that looks very worn out, though spacious. Some wooden edges have wear and tear, and I think the shower area is at the lower end of the roof so the ceiling is too low to stand properly. While it holds some nice memory for us, we wont be returning.

Liked: Beautiful hotel with stunning new restaurant and lobby. The main elderly waiter absolutely made my trip. He greeted me by name every time I came to the restaurant, and the rest of the waitstaff was also incredibly warm and friendly. It made it feel like you were going to have dinner with friends! The location could not possibly be better. It's within a 3-4 minute walk of the main part of Cortina, which is beautiful. There was ample parking, and the hotel is perfectly positioned to get on the main roads out of town to the mountains.

Disliked: I paid 270 euros per night for a room that was small, oddly shaped, and only had a twin bed in it. It felt like it might have been a service closet at some point with a bathroom added to it. I think it was overpriced but it ended up being rather cozy. The exceptional customer service offset the limitations of the room.
