“Good enough, but wouldn’t stay again”
Liked: Great location, easy enough to find and come in & out
Disliked: The room was so teeny tiny. For the cost, I expected a bit more. The room smelled damp and there was only 1 light for the whole room.

“Too good to be true”
The price was so good that something must be off: the worst hotel room I've been. The hotel is super old, paint is literally falling of the ceiling of the room, huge stains in the curtains, dirty (I found previous people's baggage tag), and worst of all: the AC not only did not heat but would turn on in the middle of the night blasting cold, I got sick because of this. When I called the front desk because of this they said it's a known issue and best they could do was a super small heater, which I had to go get myself at 3 AM in the morning. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

“5 star prices for 3 star experience”
Liked: Location was good. Very close to the red line and grocery stores. Staff were reasonably friendly but nothing special.
Disliked: No coffee or hot water for tea available. Room had that old damp smell. Shower leaked. No ventilation in bathroom. FELT LIKE A RIPOFF.

“Acceptable”
The shower was cold (they kinda fixed it after my complaints, so it was okish afterwards), the room was not clean and the safe didn’t work initially. Staff was helpful though and the location is great.

“Great location, nice public spaces (very hipstery though), upstairs halls are very dark, rooms need a complete overhaul”
Liked: Solid location. Public spaces (lobby, bar cafe) still look pretty good. Cafe staff was really friendly.
Disliked: Rooms are in need of an overhaul. My room had peeling paint, damaged walls and tiles, worn and stained tile grout. A lot of the surfaces seem to be chosen for aesthetic reasons but they are high maintenance (lots of wood in the bathroom for example). The hotel doesn't seem up to the task of maintaining them.
