G2 Hotel Myeongdong

We stayed here 3 nights, the breakfast variety is limited but good enough for me (not for my teenagers), it is close to Myeongdong but not in the heart of Myeongdong (which was very hectic), simple gym, and nice toilet overall. Wifi is good. Thanks

The hotel was great with many coffee shops around the area and just a 10min walk from myeongdong street. The staff is also very helpful with things you need. Would stay here again!

Just off the side of MyeongDong, walking distance. Very accessible and with good food locations nearby.

First time to Korea so didn’t know what and where to stay. 5 mins walk to the nearest subway station and about 15 mins walk to Myeongdong. Eating choices are ok along the side streets but breakfast was basically the same spread for the 5 nights and it’s a compulsory end at 10am. Walkway to the rooms are a bit dark but maybe it’s just an atmosphere setting

Liked: The room and bed were fine, and the housekeeping staff were extremely kind. The reception staff did their jobs properly, but could have been a little more welcoming. The toilet flush was weak, even after we reported the issue, and we noticed what appeared to be mold around the air-conditioning vent. For the price and a four-star hotel, we expected a little more.

I expected a much better experience for the price I paid, but unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. The room was much smaller than expected, and the furniture and facilities felt quite old and outdated. The staff’s English communication skills were limited, and surprisingly, they didn’t seem very familiar with the surrounding area. Although they tried to help by searching online, they couldn’t provide much useful information or recommendations. The only real advantage of this hotel was its excellent location. Overall, I don’t think the experience was worth the price, and I expected much better service and facilities.

Liked: Great location near a lot of shops and restaurants. And about a 7 minute walk from the bus stop and the subway

We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious rooms. The hotel isn’t located in the busy areas, but it is close to them, so you have the access but not the noise.
