Golden Sun Hotel - Dalat

Stayed here a couple of times. And love it. Will stay at this property again next time in Da Lat.

Comfortable surroundings and spacious. Right across from the hotel is a large shopping mall with a supermarket and restaurants. There’s an indoor pool, so you don’t have to worry about Vietnam’s frequent rain keeping you from swimming. Nearby there’s a gym and a mixed-gender sauna. Improvements: Install a clock by the pool (guests may not wear watches while swimming). The bathroom shelf is very small and has no guardrail, so guests don’t have much space for personal items and things often fall off.

Overall, Golden Sun Hotel is an excellent Hotel. Its proximity to a supermarket across the road is convenient. However, going to a restaurant is generally beyond walking distance unless one wants to go to small local restaurants nearby. Ordering food is difficult because of the language. The hotel property is very good indeed.

I've been busy, so I'm only just now free to write this review. I really, really loved it. * The staff are super warm and friendly. The manager even went around to ask if everyone was enjoying their meal. * The food isn't huge in quantity but it's very high quality. They even carved an intricate logo into the coconut. This was also the first place I’ve had lamb prepared so delicately and deliciously. In many places the smell is too strong, or the lamb is bland and tasteless. Here it retained the rich, characteristic lamb flavor without any unpleasant odor. The kitchen is excellent! Oh, and the fried rice was delicious. * The room is clean, new, elegant and a bit unusual — they use a sliding curtain to create a private partition for showering and using the bathroom, and you can pull it back completely to make the room feel spacious and bright. Really smart design! The bathroom amenities are beautiful and plentiful. Not just a token set — there were so many thoughtful extras that I actually took them out to admire because I was curious about how attentive they were! Not many places even provide a sewing kit and bath salts. Also, the toilet has an automatic wash-and-dry function, which was fun to use. * I don't often stay at 5-star hotels, so I was thrilled to find a pod coffee machine in the room. Wow! I haven't seen one even at Vinpearl, Silk Path, MGallery, Mercure, Terracotta... I was so excited that the coffee just tasted better, haha. Overall, it felt very worth the money! Every small detail made me happy — the staff (professional, warm, helpful, quick), the respectful Buddhist altar, the welcome screen, and the coffee table outside on the terrace all made my stay feel that much better. My whole family was very pleased and praised me endlessly for choosing such an excellent hotel, which doubled my joy. Thank you to the hotel team. Wishing the hotel continued success. The location is good. The room was clean and the staff was kind.

We stayed in September during the rainy season. Maybe because there were fewer guests, the staff were more attentive. The room was cleaned very well and items in the room were continuously refilled. Every day we were given cake and jelly. After breakfast the staff kept coming out to thank us. The hotel is right opposite Lam Vien square. Very convenient for getting around!

Very beautiful room, delicious food, and plenty of services to enjoy. Loved it. The front desk was very helpful. Will definitely come back next time.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful modern hotel. Short walk to shopping centre and night market. Will definitely stay again when next in town.
