Golden Tulip Jaipur City Center

Overall, my stay at Golden Tulip Jaipur was above average and reasonably comfortable. The property has a good location, the ambience is pleasant, and the overall stay was satisfactory. The room and basic facilities were decent, and the hotel generally provides a comfortable experience. However, I was disappointed with one important aspect of the stay. For the food and other additional items/services that I ordered directly from the hotel, I was charged the applicable taxes, but I was not provided with a proper detailed bill/invoice for those additional charges. If the hotel is charging GST/taxes on food or other services, the guest should be provided with a proper bill clearly showing the items ordered, their prices, applicable taxes and the total amount paid. Not providing a proper bill despite charging taxes is not a good practice and raises concerns regarding billing transparency. Apart from this issue, the overall stay was above average and the property itself is good. I hope the management will take this feedback seriously and ensure proper billing and transparency for all additional food and service charges in the future.

Disliked: They said we are full despite pre-booking of room

Liked: Room was a decent size. Extra toilet was very good. Price was fair.

Disliked: In a room there was a tap water in a bottles that was most likely never cleaned (bottles were not sealed and were not replaced with clean ones - this is not acceptable for 5 star hotel). Long waiting time for breakfast (restaurant was not able to accommodate the number of quests). Air conditioner blowing cold air directly on bed. The minibar was not refilled every day. Cleaning of the room was not on a level expected from 5 star hotel.

Liked: everything was ok. it is a very comfortable, calm and quite luxury place.

Golden Tulip City Center seems to be undergoing renovation. The rooms I stayed in were new. The staff were good. The place is at the heart of MI Road so great eating places, tourist places are very accessible. The only thing I didnt like was that the room size was very small. Also because of ongoing renovation there was noise throughout the day starting as early as 10am (This is temporary so I don’t blame the hotel)

Decent room but they are doing construction at 3rd floor which gave me headaches. even after several complaints they didn’t listen finally at 9 pm they stopped at too after threatening of police complaint. Bad i really mean bad breakfast for this kind of hotel and prices
