“Wonderful Stay for My First‑Ever “Me‑Time” Break at Hotel Gran Mahakam”
This was my first time staying at Hotel Gran Mahakam for a much‑needed me‑time getaway in the Junior Suite room. I was really impressed by how warm and welcoming every single staff member was, from the security team, valet service, concierge, and front‑desk staff at check‑in and check‑out, all the way to the breakfast‑service team. Everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. What stood out most was when I accidentally left my wallet in the lounge while having my welcome drink, the team quickly contacted me in my room to let me know. A big thank‑you to the lounge staff and all Gran Mahakam team members for their kindness and great support throughout my stay. I would definetely hope to come back soon!

“Lovely hotel with good location”

“A reliable place to stay.”
For Japanese guests, this is a reliably excellent hotel. Cleanliness, the wide variety of breakfast options, and the location all give a strong sense of consistency. If you charge services to the room, it’s better to leave a deposit at check-in. The more often you stay, the more it feels like home.

“Beautiful Colonial Style Hotel”
Liked: Beautiful building and felt quite special arriving. Staff were lovely and can’t fault them. Perhaps some policies weren’t great like welcome drinks voucher was from the bar but it was strictly for coffee or iced tea. 25% off voucher was not for alcohol. These are pretty minor tbh just felt bad for the staff enforcing all the little rules. We stayed while there was a wedding so the kids kind of took over the pool. Only two sunbeds so be good to invest in a few more. Maybe we just didn’t really enjoy Jakarta…. Anyway it’s a lovely hotel

“SUPERBBBBB!!!”
I booked this hotel last minute, and honestly, I don’t regret my choice at all! The location is great, especially if you want to explore Blok M and go shopping. The room was amazing, no need to say much, it really gave that elegant, luxurious, rich-people vibe 😂✨ The room was very clean, and the bathroom was spotless too. Everything was so comfortable that we honestly didnt even feel like leaving the room hehe. The staff were also very friendly, polite, and helpful. Overall, we had a really pleasant stay and would definitely come back again!
