Grand Hotel de Paris

We stayed for one night very basic room, very old and tired decore and first room we saw bed bugs so got moved to a different room flooring was uneven and I would walk on the carpet without shoes. Bed on a slant so felt like you were falling out and just not a good experience.

I hesitated after reading the bad ratings and reviews, but since I was arriving late at Paris Nord, the location was perfect for me so I chose it. When I checked in and went to my room I was surprised to see such a small elevator. ^^ Still, there was an elevator, so I was able to move my heavy suitcase without trouble. If you don’t expect too much and aren’t overly sensitive about cleanliness, I thought it was private and better than a guesthouse. I recommend it for travelers arriving late. My room had a bathtub, so I could relieve my tiredness after a long journey, which was very nice.

I stayed for 3 nights. The floor was damaged it wasn’t flat, my bed was inclined due to damages of the floor, and the internet wasn’t working for three nights. I really had bad experience staying in that hotel.

Wi-Fi was completely non-functional throughout my stay—an essential service for any traveler—and basic room toiletries were missing. Furthermore, housekeeping entered and cleaned the room in my absence without prior notice or consent, which is a major privacy concern. Until management fixes these basic operational and privacy issues, I cannot recommend this property.

There was no door between the room and the toilet. Wifi was not available. Ask for several time but no good response

The bathroom was disappointing. The shower area was cramped and had no door or curtain, and the tile grout was dirty — not what I expect from a hotel. Everything else was just average; I understand it’s an old building so some things are unavoidable, but for a hotel it was a bit of a letdown. The location is convenient, right in front of Gare du Nord.
