Grand Park City Hall Hotel

Booked a deluxe room. I was surprised this was a 5-star hotel as it's easily 4-star due to the below reasons. I only focus on the experience I had in the room. Pros: - Almost the whole room (lighting, aircon, fan) can be controlled by your phone. - Air purifiers in hotel common areas with the PM2.5 readings. Cons ranked: - Room aircon was too strong even in the lowest setting. When sleeping, the wind can be felt blowing on our faces no matter which part of the bed you were because the strong draft bounced from the other end of the room. Just this alone ruined the night. - Bathroom had not enough places to hang towels and clothes, making it feel more frustrating that it should be. - Bathroom WC cover had a bad smell when opened, so I kept it closed.\ - Would have expected a chair which I can use to sit. Only a sofa that is placed along the window. - The spot lights over the bed were too glaring and I couldn't switch it off unless I switched all lights off. The additional reading light on the ceiling was unnecessary since the original spotlights were so bright already. - The TV took ages to start up after I switched it off. - I assumed I could control the TV on my phone since there was the option but it didn't work.

Location is good, room is clean but expensive

I booked this with second thought since I am coming with toddler and senior,and we checked in around 2 am. If you’re looking for budget one with standard quality, book this without second thought. Checking -15-30 mins (Great if this is reduced ) Room: clean and spacious Bathroom:Have blind wall since some one commented it’s open Towel and linen: available and changed both days

Liked: The location and transport service are good

Disliked: The shower heater sucks. I stayed 4 nights and the temperature wasn’t stable in the night. Only okay when I took a quick shower in the afternoon.

We’ve always loved the look and decor of the rooms at Grand Park Hotel. The hotel is also conveniently located, with shopping malls and MRT stations all within walking distance, making it easy to get around. However, what truly makes the stay special is the staff. From the moment we arrived at the entrance to our interactions with the concierge, everyone was friendly, warm and genuinely hospitable. They greeted us and wished us a happy anniversary, and even surprised us with an anniversary cake! Such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay feel extra special. Beautiful rooms, a great location and, most importantly, amazing hospitality. Thank you to the team for making our anniversary stay a memorable one. We truly appreciate the warm service and look forward to coming back again!

The hotel is conveniently located close to the train station, with several malls nearby, making it easy to get around and find dining and shopping options. The service, however, was disappointing. The staff were not particularly friendly or accommodating, and there was very little orientation upon check-in. The breakfast setup and hotel facilities were not explained to us, and the breakfast selection itself was quite limited. We were able to drop off our luggage before checkin time, which we appreciated. However, when we returned to the hotel at around 5 PM, our luggage had still not been brought up to our room, which was a bit inconvenient after being out for the day. We also requested an early check-in and late check-out, but unfortunately, neither could be accommodated. We understand that these are subject to availability, but overall, we felt the service could have been more welcoming and attentive. The location is definitely the hotel’s strongest point, but the service and overall guest experience could use improvement.

Staff here were excellent and helpful. Room was super clean. Really enjoyed the pool and the morning breakfast before going out for the day was Excellent. Would not hesitate to come back. Ray and Ricki Canada
