Grand Victoria Hotel

The subway and shopping facilities were nearby, so we had a very comfortable stay. Above all, the clean and tidy room was excellent. There were staff who could speak Japanese, and everyone was very kind. I would definitely like to stay here again the next time I'm in Taipei.

Location isn’t great if you want to access the best part of Taipei City

I was referred to this hotel by a friend. Best reference ever. Beautiful, spacious room and wonderful, quality aesthetics. Excellent water pressure and firm, clean bed/bedroom. I also extended my stay an additional two-days. I look forward to being back!

Liked: Breakfast is good, I would appreciate more fruits.

Disliked: Some simple food choices for dinner.

Love this hotel too! I had just arrived and already knew that I would extend an additional two days, so I did! The hotel is lovely. So far the room is a good size for the deluxe double that I am staying in. It has a soaking tub and shower, which I like. The water pressure is excellent, 5-stars just for that in a beautifully, spacious bathroom. I have a long counter desk, which I need, multiply well-placed outlets, a comfortable reading chair and complimentary items in the refrigerator. I am looking forward to trying the intimate, hotel restaurants too. Otherwise, it's excellent walking distance to not only a mall across the street but many other stores and restaurants, the parks and walking paths. I plan to stay here again in future. I have already referred my nephew that is also travel right now. 🤩

This is a five-star hotel with attention to hardware details and very competent service. I had to make a last-minute trip to Taipei and the meeting was in Dazhi, so I didn’t hesitate to book the Grand Victoria Hotel. My child loved it and headed straight for the pool as soon as we arrived! The room is full of thoughtful details: master switches and power outlets by both bedside lamps, adjustable reading floor and desk lamps, quality of the desk and chair, a SONY LCD TV, BOSE Bluetooth speaker, a clear mini-fridge, Panasonic hairdryer, KENWOOD electric kettle, bright interior lighting, a snack cabinet, TWININGS tea bags, thick embroidered logo bathrobes and indoor slippers, a safe, a flashlight… GROHE bathroom fittings, a clean bathtub, a separate toilet compartment, a Swiss AXENT heated bidet toilet seat, L’OCCITANE bath products, an anti-backflow drain in the shower, and an Alaskan ceiling electric check valve… so many details that clearly show the professionalism and care of the management! The breakfast was delicious, the atmosphere great, and the service very good — they take a refined approach. Finally, thank you to the front desk staff for their help — we were even able to purchase a high-quality umbrella with the Victoria logo. Thank you! The room was new, clean, and comfortable. The staff were very polite, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. It’s also a great-value hotel, conveniently located next to two huge shopping malls with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets. Highly recommended for families travelling with kids!
