“A lovely building though looking a little tired. A reasonable price for the room had the tv been working and an ok break”

Liked: Beautiful old building set in lovely grounds

Disliked: TV didn’t work, safe was out of order, bar and restaurant were closed only Indian Shisha restaurant open, which was screening football on two large screens. And the fact it was a Shisha restaurant was not prominently advertised. If I had known in advance I would not have eaten there, even though the food was good.

“Overall a great stay for the price”

Liked: The staff were excellent and very accommodating giving our group the opportunity to get into a room to get ready ahead of a wedding even though check-in was set for later. Veggie breakfast was tasty and cooked to order. The room is lovely and spacious.

Disliked: We expected more in-room amenities for a 4-star hotel. Of vanity items there was only hand soap and 3-in-1 shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Everything else about this hotel is at a higher standard so we expected more.

Liked: 30 minutes to Heathrow by car. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast okay.

Disliked: Dripping gutter outside my window. Crowded, noisy restaurant and having to drive to find a quieter place to eat.
