“Charming small hotel with great amenities in a perfect location.”
Liked: The location was wonderful in an area full of restaurants and beautiful architecture. We were able to walk to all the places we wanted to visit. The hotel itself used to be a women’s guild house. The rooms were very beautiful with many amenities and rich furnishings to make your stay there comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very nice, especially the included robes. There was even a small lounge room in the hotel to relax in. The communications with the hotel were great and easy to follow. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be in a hotel with character and history.
Disliked: Everything was perfect

“Nice place to stay overall”
Liked: Property is well decorated and although no staff it has easy access and nice amenities
Disliked: We booked 5 rooms for a wedding near by. One of the rooms had an issue with the air conditioning in the late evening. I contacted the property phone number several times and the emergency number as well, in addition to texting directly, but no answer till the next morning. The room was unbearably hot to sleep in. They did respond the next morning and apologized. They offered a refund for that room after I requested which is commendable and appreciated. Aside from this issue we did love the place and would actually stay again if given the opportunity.

“Exactly what we wanted. A unique hotel experience in the middle of everything, walking distance. So comfortable and rela”
Liked: We stayed in the Martha. This was a cute lil room with a very comfortable bed and linens. The robes were so soft and luxurious. The room was nice and dark at night which we love. It was perfect. Also, the sparkling water tap was wonderful.
Disliked: I didn’t like being on the 4th floor with no elevator.

“One time and done. Would not stay here again.”
Liked: I liked the fact the old property takes you back the late 1800s.
Disliked: Our room was so dusty. It was crazy, dust and dirt on top of the bed cupboard, I had to clean my nightstand because of the amount of dirt and dust. That included the tea table and the banister and the books on the banister.

“Cute little hotel, but the location is rough and noisy.”
Liked: It’s a cute little gem! The room was nice and comfortable, and we really appreciated the thoughtful little touches like complimentary cookies, chocolates, and coffee.
Disliked: The location is a bit rough, and the streets can be quite noisy at night. There’s also no staff or reception, which can make the hotel feel a little empty.
