“Good location for those who don’t mind the heat”

The opening statement would be - the room is oven hot in the Singapore weather. It was not our first stay. We have been to Heritage Collections and Seah on Heritage has always been in our itinerary. Location wise, it was marvellous. You have the Long Bar at Raffles Hotel, Suntec City, Raffles City (City Hall MRT) even bus stop to Changi in walking distances. F1 fans, who doesn’t want to use public transport post event should think about this. It is surrounding by great eateries as well. The room comes with microwave oven, free laundry services and eating utensils. There was an almost complete kitchenette within. However, all these perks could not overrule the discomfort we had while in our room. The floor was hot. The chocolate and most of my confectionery I bought melted in the luggage cause the floor was simply too hot. Due to the high ceiling and having only 1 AC unit in the whole room, the ventilation within the room was really bad. The staff tried their best to accommodate our requests by handing us the standing fan. However, all these still could not dissipate the heat. Imagine you come back from the outdoor scorching tropical 40 degrees heat, you are welcomed with another hot room instead of the usual 20 degrees you expect from the usual hotel room. Other than that, I would still recommend to guests who like the location and who do not mind the heat.

Liked: I liked the concept hassle free, everything is well explained and easy to go with. It was clean and very well thought through

Disliked: The only thing I could think of is it got a bit noisy sometimes, due to the construction nearby, plus if you have a noisy neighbor.

  • Guests must present passport upon check-in as a proof of identity
  • All bookings made are strictly non-cancellable, non-refundable, and non-amenable. Should you fail to check in by 12PM one day after your original check-in date, your reservation will be treated as a "No Show". In the event of a no-show, the full amount for the entire duration of the reservation is non-refundable
  • This is a non-smoking premise. Smoking or any other related activity, which may result in a potential fire hazard (e.g. burning of incense, lighted candles, unattended use of disposable BBQ pits, etc.) is strictly not permitted within the unit and building premises, including the balcony. A fee of SGD1,000 and a professional cleaning charge to remove the smoke smell in the premises will be imposed on the guest should the guest be found smoking, and a fine of S$500 will be imposed for durian consumption. The management reserves the right to forfeit deposits, evict guests, or charge the registered credit/debit card for any violations.
  • When booking more than 5 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply.
