“Cozy overnighter at Ella”
Liked: Fabulous location and easy access to the market area and the bars Breathtaking views of the valley Smooth check-in and easy operations overall Limited but well curated breakfast Well put together, given the limited space and the fact that the property is built on metal stilts
Disliked: Works well for a night's stay at best, rooms are too compact for a prolonged stay Location is at a steep climb from the main market road, not for the geriatric

“There is room for improvement”
Liked: The view of the mountain from the room is stunning. And, Thank you so much for the anniversary cake.
Disliked: The balcony restaurant wasn’t open at all. The swimming pool water was rather cloudy.

“An amazing choice in Ella”
Liked: The location of this hotel is stunning, with views to the mountains, you can even spot monkeys jumping around. The whole building structure makes you feel you’re part of the impressive landscape. Everybody serving at the restaurant was lovely and they have such a huge selection of food, the room has a good side, as well as the bathroom.

“Too expensive for what it was.”
Liked: Beautiful view and outdoor deck areas. Great breakfast. The pool would have been nice but we didn’t use it. Above the pool floor it looked like there might be an outdoor bar in peak season (it wasn’t in use while we were there) and that would have been a big bonus for me too as it looked really nice.
Disliked: We had a rock facing room but without a balcony so it had a fixed window. I found the room a bit small and claustrophobic. The restaurant has a nice view but lacks a bit of soul. Would be good if they had some music playing or something.

Disliked: Extremely Disappointing and Unacceptable Experience We booked a room at this hotel, only to receive a message just two hours before our arrival claiming there was a payment issue. I immediately provided a new credit card to resolve the problem. However, shortly afterward, I received another message informing me that the room was no longer available. As a result, I found myself stranded with two children, without accommodation, just hours before we were supposed to check in. This was an extremely stressful, frustrating, and unacceptable experience. A confirmed reservation should mean something, especially when traveling with children. The hotel's handling of this situation was completely unprofessional and showed a shocking lack of responsibility toward its guests. I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking this property.

“Not worth the price”
The hotel is good for backpackers! There is sauna, stunning pool, great decks to chill. In my view in the same tariff there were far better options available in Ella. With bigger rooms and better facilities. The in room dining was good. Our waiter Pushpa was very helpful and jolly.
