“Great place to stay”
Location is excellent with the tram just at the doorstop. Friendly and helpful staff who made this stay extra enjoyable. Food at breakfast was great too.

“Save for the annoying drilling sound, I am really satisfied with the overall stay.”
Liked: The room, bed and other facilities etc are what I expected as I have been staying at this hotel twice a year for the past 5 years or more.
Disliked: I was taken aback when I heard from my room ( 2008) some kind of a drilling sound which seems to be some renovation works upstairs. Very disturbing sound at least a hour from 7.00 am to 8.00 am. I was shocked that such unfriendly thing happened in a brand like HILTION! If my memory is correct, it happened on the morning of either 19/20 or 20/21.

“Tiny room with breakfast finishing by 10.30am - no value for money”
Liked: Comfy bed, easy check-in and luggage storage
Disliked: We had paid breakfast but weren't told that it would finish by 10.30am. Missed out on it and were still charged for it. First 5* Hotel where breakfast finished before 12, I've stayed in. Room was very small and the city view was just overlooking rooftops and neighboring buildings. For nearly $600 a night I was expecting a lot more!

“Beautiful hotel in a great location”
Great room, plenty of space and excellent spot opposite qvb and right at a light rail station makes it very easy to get around anywhere in Sydney. Highly recommended, would stay again

“Great central location, but small things like being charged for a coffee at breakfast are a negative”
Liked: rooms are nice and hotel is in a great, central location
Disliked: check in and response to special request was ignored however i did receive multiple emails/messages asking if i wanted to upgrade my room. i would have preferred to receive a response to my special request. I also could not believe in todays day and age that I had to get my room key revalidated on day 2 of my booking because there were two separate bookings.
