Hilton Taipei Sinban

My partner stayed and was full of praise for the Hilton, Taipei - Sinban. Especially having two bathroom basins, an exceptional swimming pool and a view that she said is stunning. Thank you.

I am writing to share my feedback regarding the service during my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the quality of service provided. The front desk staff greeting guests was impolite and lacked basic hospitality, failing to offer even a welcoming smile. I hope you will address this matter with your team to ensure that future guests have a better experience.

The location, breakfast, and room condition were all good. However, there was a clear distinction between guests who booked through Agoda and Hilton members. Personally, I am a Hilton member, but since Agoda had a cheaper rate, I made the reservation through their platform and heard the term "third party platform customer" more than five times during checkout. Furthermore, it was absurd that a single bed room for three people only included breakfast for two... It’s obvious that three people would be staying in the room... Still, it is definitely Hilton.

Staff were excellent, we arrived early, but they took our luggage and sent it to the room for our arrival. View from our room was nice. Pool at the top overlooking Taipei was nice to enjoy leisure time at. A slightly larger room would have been preferred for a family, but it's still enough to get by with. Beds were comfortable. Located in a nice area with a short walk to a train and bus station. Food in restaurant and cafe a bit expensive as expected from a hotel of this calibre.

​We had high expectations for our first stay with the Hilton chain, but the experience felt far more like a low-tier transit hub than a 5-star hotel. ​Right from the start, there was no doorman or bell service present to help with luggage. Front desk staff initially tried to claim our reservation didn't include breakfast, only conceding once we pressed the matter. On top of that, constant elevator queues meant waiting in lines just to get upstairs. ​While the King Guest Room was roomy and the bed was fine, the overall design felt bare and uninviting, complete with a small, awkward futon on one corner. The mini-fridge was virtually useless, running at 17°C, which maintenance simply shrugged off as normal for an "eco" unit. ​Breakfast was underwhelming: Watery, dried-out scrambled eggs, limited selections, a messy shared jar of butter that felt unhygienic, and a service team that was inattentive and struggled to communicate in English. ​Please note that ride-hailing apps tend to setup the pickup point out on the open street curb instead of the sheltered entrance. If the weather is bad, message your driver immediately after booking so that they pull into the covered lobby driveway. ​We won't be staying here again and will be steering clear of the brand in the future.

It was a hot day when I visited, so it was tough, but I think it would have been nice to just stay in the hotel with the pool and sauna. It's a pity that I couldn't use the internal facilities much due to my schedule, but I still enjoyed the breakfast and the swimming pool, making the most of my time there.

I put this Hotel for my friends. They’re coming from india and they asked me to book behalf of them.. but due to some emergency, they cannot catch the flight. I requested to Agoda to help us to change the date or refund us, but they refused. They say Hotel refused.! what kind of horror it is! Definitely will not go back no matter I am the member but this location I will not! Thanks
