“Good”
I arrived at midnight, and receptionist was a thin Black man. The slowly check-in and parking process took over two hours. The automatic gate to the garage was broken and wouldn't open; after several back-and-forth attempts, I ended up parking in the hotel courtyard. The thin black receptionist then asked for a 10-euro tip—a request that instantly lowered the hotel's standing. That said, the breakfast was decent, and the price was relatively reasonable. It would be more accurate to describe the place as a youth hotel.

“Great stay & location”
Liked: Excellent location near the airport & a short walk to the S Bahn to the city centre, Rewe supermarket a 10 minute walk, great beer in the hotel bar. Stunning city view from my room.
Disliked: Breakfast expensive, and the self serve shop very expensive.

Disliked: The pillows were the worst pillows I've seen in my life. And they gave us 1 queen bed although my reservation through booking was 2 twin bed. These factors affected my quality of sleep so I didn't sleep well during my whole stay in Holiday Inn City Nord

“OK for one or two nights”
Liked: It has parking and public transport connection is OK. The room was fine.
Disliked: While the room was fine, it was quite crowded, and there was absolute no space to put away your things. Parking is expensive.
