Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel

We had a staycation here and got a package deal which included Ocean Park tickets. Was a nice getaway, staff were really welcoming and kind. Our 4 year old didn’t want to leave, he loved the swimming pool. Hotel catered really well for kids, with indoor playground as well. Breakfast buffet was busy but the line moved quickly and food was fresh and tasty. Restaurants get busy so best to book ahead!

Exceptional pool, great for kids and super friendly staff. We went for the Ocean Park visit and stayed 5 nights, and enjoyed the breakfast buffet, Ciak/prohibition restaurant. Easy access to MTR to get everywhere else.

Staffs there are great, super welcoming and professional. Front desk and cleaning crew are very polite, friendly and efficient. The breakfast staff, Gary, recognized us and greeted us daily and catering to our needs. He even helped us to stablize the wobbly table by kneeling down and screwing the adjustable legs (without us asking)! His work attitude is really wonderful and amazing! We are so thankful for his service that brigtened our day! What an amazing experience!

A year ago I had to change rooms three times because of problems with the room’s facilities, and the hotel restaurant added an ingredient that I’m allergic to, so I stopped staying at this hotel. A year later, because I was going to Ocean Park, I stayed here again for three days and two nights. Unfortunately, in that year there was no improvement in the hotel’s management or food safety in the restaurant. The room cleanliness was fine, but the room phone was faulty. I reported it to the front desk as soon as I checked in. Housekeeping came up to check and said the handset’s battery was dead and that charging it for a while would fix it. I waited from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and there was still no response. I informed the front desk again and asked them to arrange someone to fix it. We were not in the room and asked them to just go in and handle it, but when we returned at 10:00 p.m. the phone still hadn’t been fixed and no one had explained the delay. I reported it again at 9:00 a.m. the next morning, and it wasn’t resolved until 3:00 p.m. that afternoon. For a hotel that claims to be five-star, it’s absurd that a simple phone problem would take a full day and night to fix. Is that the level of service expected from your hotel? On the third morning, while having breakfast in the hotel restaurant, the staff again added an ingredient that would cause me an allergic reaction. I am truly disappointed with this hotel. Maybe to the hotel we are just small, unimportant guests, but as a Marriott five-star property, basic room equipment shouldn’t take a full day to repair, and food-handling issues should be attended to carefully. Is this the attitude of a five-star hotel?

The hotel room was very comfortable, the pools were great, and the buffet breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Front desk staff member Cindy was very attentive and helpful with check-in; the service was excellent. The only downside was that when we decided at the last minute to visit Ocean Park to see the giant pandas, there were no discounted tickets available. Still, we will definitely stay here again because we really love the Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel — this was our second stay. We had a wonderful weekend with friends and look forward to bringing even more friends next time 🙂

The hotel provided a baby cot, baby toothbrushes, and a baby bath tub, so parents could feel very reassured. The rooms were clean and full of light, and there was a baby pool—great for a family outing. Several of the hotel’s restaurants also had high chairs. It was a wonderful short break, and we’re very grateful the hotel provided a birthday gift to surprise my husband. 💕💕🙏🏻👍🏻

The hotel's location is convenient for visiting Ocean Park. The room was clean and tidy, the service quality was good, and the staff were friendly and proactive. The room was sufficiently spacious. Nearby shopping requires taking the MTR, but it's not too far away. The fire alarm indicator in the room kept flashing, which may slightly affect people who require complete darkness for sleep. Overall experience was good!
