Liked: In historic center of Quito 1) Owner Operator Napoleon is hospitable and attentive which over compensate of other issues as small rooms and no. Closets 2). But very willing to store your luggage as needed.

Disliked: Small rooms and no closet.

Liked: Wonderful location, it's within easy walking distance of all the major downtown sites, with many restaurants and shops just steps away. The staff are helpful, and I felt very safe here as a mom with two kids. They organized an airport transfer to greet us in the middle of the night, and made sure someone was at the hostel to meet us.

Disliked: The family room is right against the street, and it's very loud, making it difficult to sleep. This is the only reason we wouldn't be back, the walls are just too thin to get a good night's rest. The room and beds are dated, and all could use an upgrade, but for the price point this place is a great deal.

Liked: The location is very near a popular area of Quito with trendy restaurants and entertainment with historic monuments and character. The hotel itself is Art Deco. The rooms are comfortable and unique. Pets are welcomed and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Disliked: There are a lot of steps with heavy luggage or a health issue but the staff assists.

Liked: The hotel was comfortable. The staff were attentive and courteous. The location was terrific: very close to public transport and many of the historic building and sites.

Disliked: The rooms were a little drafty at night. The kitchen didn't open until 7am.

Liked: Location, staff and price.

Disliked: Street noise

Disliked: No elevator but staff carried my luggage up the stairs, small room, bad tv reception in room.
