Liked: Located in the middle between diving centers and Cala Marcal beach,-perfect, budget friendly place for divers, solo travelers etc. It’s more like private apartment than a hotel, you have your own key, come and go as you like.Place was simple, clean with nice view to marina from balcony. Mother hotel JS is located across the street with 24/7 ( very helpful) reception, for 14€ you can get delicious, ‘all you can eat ‘breakfast - will keep your tank full till evening 😁! Was able to park my car under the windows, nice local restaurants are all over the neighborhood. Will return for sure!

Every day is hot, with some days exceeding 40 degrees. The hotel from the previous day had no air conditioning, which was the worst. This time, I booked a hotel that was supposed to have air conditioning, but when I confirmed at check-in, they said there was none. When I showed them the room details, they said it was a mistake. They added that if I didn't like it, I could cancel. I mean, I've already traveled two hours to this hotel, and I plan to go sightseeing right away, so do I really have to look for another hotel? That would waste a whole day. The person at the front desk boldly lied, saying most hotels in Mallorca don’t have air conditioning. What’s the deal with this air-conditioned lobby? They told me that the room has a fan and that if I open the balcony, it would be cool enough and that it wouldn't be a problem. However, I insisted on seeing the room, and they let me in. There was a refrigerator that was cooling well, so I thought I could manage somehow and reluctantly decided to stay. But when I returned from sightseeing, the room was like a sauna, with a dirty fan making noise but no wind coming in. Hot air was circulating in the room, and I had to open the refrigerator to feel the cool air on my face, take cold showers, and use the fan to cool off repeatedly. There was a slight breeze on the balcony, but there was only one small door that could open, and it couldn't fully open because the bed was in the way. No wind was coming in at all, and it was better not to use the fan or the noisy fan. The hot air was unbearable, and I couldn't stand it; I kept fleeing to the balcony. It was so hot that I couldn't sleep until dawn, and just as I dozed off, the morning sun hit the bed directly. This wasn’t just hot; it was a hotel that mocked people. The room felt like an old apartment that was repurposed into a hotel. Of course, there was no elevator, and I had to carry my heavy luggage up three flights of stairs. In the summer, all hotels in Mallorca are ridiculously expensive! Just for a night or two, I think they could easily afford to install air conditioning. When I told others, they were shocked that there was no air conditioning, especially someone who came from Rome amidst this heat. The hotel thinks as long as the prices are high due to demand, it doesn't matter what kind of room guests stay in. I was filled with the desire to escape quickly; it was not a vacation at all. I intended to stay until check-out at noon, but the direct sunlight was pouring in, making it impossible for me to relax. How can one sweat profusely in a hotel room? This is the truth; it’s just too horrible. Even if they claim to have air conditioning, don’t believe it. The hotel said that if I didn’t like it, they would refund me, but there was no sign of remorse for lying! If it were good, I would have liked to stay multiple nights, but it was too terrifying, battling the heat after getting tired from sightseeing. Today, I will stay in a hotel near the airport, which is only slightly more expensive than San Francisco, but it has effective air conditioning and even a refrigerator that wasn't mentioned in the details, along with breakfast included. They even prepared an early breakfast since I mentioned I wouldn't be able to eat it because I had to leave early. That's the standard. This hotel only sees customers as money, deceiving them about its facilities to attract guests. Please don’t spend two hours moving just to changed hotels; at night, it's loud with the neighboring bar making a racket. There are no convenience stores around, and the nearest supermarket is 500 meters away. After shopping and returning, the room feels like a sauna! More than a refund, I want my time back on Mallorca. In the morning, direct sunlight hits the bed, so let's close the curtains. It may turn into a sauna, but it’s a hotel from which there's no escaping the heat. Don't be fooled. I can't fathom how they continue doing business like this.

Liked: Great location close to bus stop, etc. I liked my large room with refrig & microwave. Excellent value for the money in my opinion.

Disliked: I think a few outlets didn't work. I did not understand why there could not be a small sign at the entry directing to the hotel across the street to pick up the key there. I was not alone in trying to figure out how to check-in.

This place made me feel scammed. First of all, there's no reception desk at the building. You should go to the other hotel reception instead. If you open the windows, you can see the pedestrian's legs. There are some amenities like a fridge and microwave, but the shower room is super tiny. If you have a big body, you can't even enter the shower room. Another disappointing point is no dryer. Heaps of mosquitos were also terrible the whole night. However, the location is pretty good, near the water, and has a huge parking lot.

The hostel is directly across from the suites so really easy to find. The hostel is very outdated but it lends to its charm. Room was basic and clean, very affordable and quiet on an evening. Lots of places to eat and drink within a walkable distance and as a solo female I didn’t feel unsafe when it got dark. Will absolutely to planning to come again
