Liked: I booked a family room (not sure of the actual name) but it was huge and a bit ridiculous for one person. The beds were very comfortable and the value was amazing. All of the staff was very friendly. Great location and great space! I would definitely stay here again!

Disliked: The only negative is that there is no art and the curtains don't fit properly. It is such a great space, but would be absolutely amazing with just a touch of design to make it more homey.

Liked: Great location. Hot showers, enough toilet to person ratio. Nice roof balcony.

Disliked: Check in with the man at the front desk was rather rude. Seemed to be annoyed that I didn't speak Spanish very well (it definitely is enough to get by, but he was impatient).

Liked: Location and price! Bed had clean sheets, light, outlet and locker. My yake is that if you can afford to pay about €7 more.. you might get a place where you'll feel a bit more comfortable with more vibe. If you want to save - in the end all was good and it's a great value hostel.

Disliked: Nothing was bad really. The place actually meets the minimum level to be appropriate. However, that's not your typical backpacker hostel.. roommates weren't travelers which isn't a good mix. I arrived around 8 pm and it felt a bit wierd to have that couple in the room. Lockers seemed very easy to break. Olace has a patio, but lack of common spaces.. needs chairs, sofas etc.

Liked: Fantastic location. Next to both tourist areas and local services (market in Analco, self service laundromat). Located within a historic building with a traditional Spanish courtyard and beautiful trees that birds visit daily. I was at this location for three weeks (more like an apartment sublet) and was upgraded free to a room with private bathroom. Secure as staff (who live on site) monitor who enter and exit through a locking gate. It is locked 8-8 so this space is not a party hostel, which suited me. Similar to other hostels in Mexico in this price range, heat is not provided and hot water is best used in the early afternoon. Would be excellent space for longer stay to study Spanish. Would also be great for youth groups, hiking groups. They seem to have a big variety of rooms to suit different size groups and families.

Disliked: Because the rooms are all located around a central courtyard, sound travels.

Liked: Quiet, large space.

Disliked: It’s locked down quite early every night at 8pm and we had to phone night guard to let us in. No communal areas. No shared kitchen (unlike how it’s advertised). Parking is per night (not per stay, as advertised). It’s quite basic. The toilet paper is outside, not in cubicle.

Liked: Nice old courtyard. Big, quiet room with a fun layout, many lighting options and a huge bed. Very convenient location.

Das Hostal befindet sich nahe dem Zentrum. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und die Betten bequem, leider ist nicht immer Warmwasser vorhanden um sich zu duschen. Roomservice gibt es keinen, man muss sich die nötigen Verbrauchsmaterialien als auch frische Tücher selbst bei der Reception holen. Eine gemeinsame Küche ist auch vorhanden, jedoch sieht diese entsprechend aus, da die Gäste sich nicht um den Abwasch kümmern. Das Hostel an sich ist sehr gemütlich, für Kurzaufenthalte bis 7 Tage sehr zu empfehlen aber nicht für solche die Sauberkeit priorisieren.
