“Warm hospitality, great base for exploring”
Liked: We really enjoyed our stay at Hostería La Soberana. Susana, the owner and host, is lovely and hospitable — she made us feel right at home. The hotel feels brand new: rooms are warm and comfortable, beds are cozy, showers have great pressure, and breakfast was excellent. We traveled with two small kids and they loved it too. The location is quiet with great views, and with a car you're under 10 minutes from coffee shops and restaurants. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

“Great value, meticulously clean and comfortable”
Liked: Meticulously clean, spacious and comfortable, great linens and a Susana is a wonderful host who makes you feel at home, is very gracious and attentive to your every need. The breakfast was absolutely fresh, plentiful and a great value to the stay.

“Our stay was unbeatable!”
Liked: Susanna is a wonderful host. Breakfast is substantial with fresh fruit, juice yogurt, toast, ham, cheese, eggs and croissants. Spacious, clean room with a fantastic view!

“Exceptional”
Liked: Our host, Susan, was kind and helpful with terrific recommendations for hikes, dining, and activities to enjoy EL Calafate. She went out of her way to take care of us and make us comfortable during our stay. The room was clean, spacious, with lovely views of Lago Argentina. Breakfast was delicious.

“Beautiful Property and Views”
Liked: This is a beautiful and clean property with parking. Our room had an expansive view of the lake. Staff was friendly, WiFi was good, and hot water in the shower was decent. It is located a bit out of town, but in a quiet and peaceful area.
Disliked: Breakfast is served at 7:00am, which is late for people heading early to Perito Moreno Glacier. Fortunately, they were able to prepare an early takeaway breakfast for us. The property seems to be new. It's nice, but the walls are rather thin and we were able to hear people walking down the hallway.
