“Cheap, old and rundown”
Liked: Nothing, old hotel with very basic furniture lights and overall quality especially considering how expensive it was! It’s a youth hostel
Disliked: The bedsheets and towels were old, used and the neon lights made it so sad. There was not even a beside table lamps for reading. Cheap, old and used

“Place very convenient being so close to centrale”
Liked: Georgia the front desk person was excellent. She always had a smile. She also would ask if things were okay; or if we needed anything else. She is an outstanding employee
Disliked: Shower holder was broken, so had to use it as wand to spray. I finally was able to rip it using some rope and tied to top of tube. Shower was so small there was no room really to use it as wand

“If I'm ever in Palermo again, I will definitely choose a different hotel.”
Liked: Great location, everything super accessible but……..
Disliked: Terrible hygiene!!!! The only good thing is the central location—everything is super accessible—but otherwise, this hotel is a disaster. The room was unclean, there were cockroaches, and my mattress had a huge, ugly burn hole. To make matters worse, the bathroom mirror is hanging insecurely on a tiny hook—a major safety hazard if touched. The breakfast was also very poor. Cleanliness and maintenance do not exist here.

“Disappointed”
Liked: The pressure of water in the shower. The bed was ok. The vicinity to the station.
Disliked: The first room I got was in the end of a labyrint of corridors -- absolutely no emergency exit, no fire extinguisher, no emergency plan at all. In case of fire I would have been fried.... Really big stenches on the only chair, I wouldn't have used it even if I got paid. The fridge/minibar was empty and didn't work. There were no bed lamps. Only a bed, this filthy chair and a lamp in the roof. I asked for a change of the room and got a better one, close to the stairs. The smoke detector didn't work. They'd removed the mini fridge/mini bar. There was dirt on the walls and in some corners and on the side of the washing place in the bathroom. There were two bed lamps of which one was functional -- but it didn't really reach the electric contact, so you either had to put it under your pillow and then it stood on the corner of the bed table, or place it on the floor a bit further away. For breakfast you as a hotel guest were not permitted to have a real Italian coffee from the bar (if so you need to pay 3 euro) but had to get a Nescafé from the machine... Poor choices, only one kind of cooked ham, one slice of cheese, sliced tomato if you didn't want to eat sweets. I don't eat gluten, which I communicated in advance -- but often I had to ask for the bread four times before it came. In the end I gave up. I had a four night stay. The one who seemed to be the main one of the staff stopped looking at me, purposely, he looked in other directions, after some day -- it didn't feel good at all of course, and I cannot see there ever was a reason why. Very unpleasant.
