Hotel Andes Urubamba by Amak

Liked: Awesome little hotel in the center of Urubamba. The staff was very reactive and helpful to help us plan our stay and activities, both before via email and on-site. We were pretty much alone in the hotel during our visit so we even had personalized breakfast cooked just for us.

Disliked: Everything was perfect, we just had a small electricity cut at some point (about 30mins, it was the whole block) and hot water in the shower was sometimes a bit hard to get (waiting a few minutes usually solved it). But I think these are inherent to Urubamba / the Sacred Valley in general.

Liked: The young man working the front desk was exceptional. I only wish I had gotten his name. He was so helpful including excellent recommendations for the area.

Liked: Rooms were spacious and staff was friendly.

Disliked: Room decor was sparse and felt sterile. Lighting was also too harsh.

the receptionist are attentive to the guest, location is great, the only thing is the breakfast they don't have a choice, egg & bread is the only thing they offer as main course

Liked: We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed our time at Hotel Andes. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Many thanks to all the staff, from the kitchen, reception, cleaning. A special thank you to Marleni, who was an exceptional host throughout our stay. She was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and always available to assist with any questions or requests. Her warm hospitality and attention to detail made our experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay, and we would gladly return in the future.

Liked: Perfect accommodation but didn’t sleep due to dogs barking

Liked: Traveling with my girlfriend this has been the best hotel we’ve experience in Peru. The location is exceptional, the staff, the rooms, the breakfast and the view is nothing short of exceptional. The staff were extremely helpful with information and resources as well as contacts for tours and drivers. They helped me get to Machu Picchu. There is a nice elevator to your room and bed mattress was of the highest quality I’ve had so far in Peru. Last but not least I a nice breakfast with my girlfriend before going out to explore!

Liked: The room had a luxurious feel to it, which made me surprisingly pleased. The shower area is very clean and comfortable. And after traveling all day long, the bed was the best. I was able to sleep deeply. The next morning breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly and kind.

Disliked: I would have loved to stay longer. But I had some other plans already. I would definitely come back to this lovely hotel.
