“Very good”
The staff was very helpful with carrying my heavy luggage up and down the stairs. It was very clean inside the room and many amenities are provided. The breakfast is also very nice with great variation. The room is also spacious, you can open your suitcase and move around comfortably Would definitely recommend

“Everything is great except for the breakfast.”
The hotel breakfast was not Japanese-style... it was like a burger set, and it was a bit disappointing. I only had it once out of the three days, and ate at other places for the other two days. It's located at the edge of the city, which is convenient for moving around.

Liked: The building is older, but it’s clear the owner is making an effort to keep it welcoming and appealing with thoughtful personal touches, such as an aromatherapy diffuser in the lobby, a complimentary drink hour, and updated wallpaper. The rooms were slightly larger than those at some of the other hotels we stayed at. The breakfast buffet offered a nice variety of sandwiches, pastries, and cereals, and the green smoothie was a particularly nice addition. The staff were attentive and helpful, especially when they assisted me with the paperwork to ship my suitcase. The bathroom fixtures are older but were clean and worked well. The hotel is about a 10–15 minute walk from the train station. Overall, a comfortable stay with thoughtful touches and friendly service
Disliked: The steep stairs to enter the hotel may be challenging for those with mobility limitations.

“Compactness is good.”
The location is about a 15-minute walk to both Takamatsu Station and Takamatsu Port, and you can also easily walk to the airport limousine bus stop while strolling through the arcade. The bathroom in the room is small but clean, the bed is comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. There is no need to wait in line for the elevator or breakfast. I was running and heading to the sea, so this relaxed atmosphere was appreciated, and it was a very comfortable stay.

“I have used it well for three days!”
The staff were kind and even though I checked in late, they were ready and I was able to use the service quickly. It would be better to have a microwave placed in the room later! I will come again next year, thank you.

“It was a good trip.”
One thing to note is that there are a total of three Takamatsu Area One Hotels nearby. One is in front of Takamatsu Station, another is around the corner, and this hotel is very close to surrounding transportation and shopping restaurants, especially convenient for getting around. Additionally, they operate a free bar from 6 PM to 9 PM. Be sure to try the ginger ale!! It’s the best. To the front right, there is the Mitsukoshi Department Store. Behind it are Hyogomachi and Kawarimachi, and you can also use the Kotoden line's Kawaramachi Station to experience a small-town feel. Taking the Kotoden train is convenient for getting to Ritsurin Park and the Busshozan Onsen. It’s not far to travel to the castle and the Prefectural Art Museum, as well as to JR Takamatsu Station and Takamatsu Port. The rooms are small but comfortable, and the friendly staff service is very good.
