Liked: It was not more than a place to sleep
Disliked: Breakfast offered a very limited selection, and it was served buffet-style with predetermined portions. This left you feeling uncomfortable asking for more, as it seemed like they were carefully counting your food. The hotel is quite basic and simple. The front desk is open until 9 PM. While it's easily accessible by car, it's inconvenient for pedestrians to walk in and out, especially at night.

“Overall, a very pleasant experience.”
Liked: We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we felt welcome. The garden with the pool is beautiful and very relaxing, and the location is great—peaceful and slightly away from the busy town center.
Disliked: The only thing missing is a small bar where guests could enjoy a drink while taking in the surrounding views and the Arenal Volcano.

“One option to stay in La Fortuna with walking distance to everything”
Liked: They have a beautiful garden and swimming pool. The location is great, within walking distance of La Fortuna's centre.
Disliked: I was surprised that the shower water was so unstable that we had to adjust the taps constantly, either boiling hot or just cold.

“We made a great choice with this one!”
Liked: This property was very well maintained with beautiful landscaping. Pool was very clean, serene with stunning view of volcano. Although dated, our room was very comfortable and clean. A/C and TV worked perfectly, good wifi and safe in room. Bathroom more than adequate. Walkable to restaurants, hot springs and town.
Disliked: In room coffee and tea kettle would have made this place even better. Seemed odd to not offer coffee in Costa Rica.
