Hotel Astoria Sorrento

Liked: Excellent breakfast, great location, and very helpful staff

Liked: Great location, really central but not noisy. Wonderful, helpful staff from the reception desk to the room cleaners. Rooms adequate but not luxurious. Room kept very clean as were the communal areas.

Disliked: Very thin walls, noisy neighbouring guests who actually woke us up on a number of nights.

Liked: The location is excellent and staff is friendly and helpful. The dipping pool and patio is a bonus.

Liked: Everything great! Breakfast could be a little bit more fresh!

Liked: Clean. Confortable.

Disliked: N/A

Liked: Location!! The doorway gives the choice of three directions - the coastal area, the main square and the heart of the shopping alleyways - all just minutes away. We also liked our balcony, which overlooked the alleyways, and the garden area.

Disliked: The only thing that spoilt our stay was the inability to control the air conditioning in our room at a time when the weather was really hot. We had to ask Reception to turn the aircon on every time. We have never encountered this at an hotel before.

Liked: Our room was modern. Reception helpful & friendly.

Disliked: It was disjointed as we had to go up several stairs etc to our room but did prefer the modern room. Didn’t enjoy the Buffett breakfast. Found pastries and cakes slightly stale. Coffee machine never worked properly maybe just a blip.

Liked: Location is perfect. Great breakfast. Staff very kind and helpful.

Disliked: We stayed at the new area of the hotel, which was great, clean, comfortable. But the walls are paper thin. We could hear all from the room next door, even their breathing.
