“Exceptional”

Liked: Beautiful old world hotel, with a real room key. Very close to everything, not 2 minutes from the arena. Excellent breakfast. Very comfortable pillows, bed, with plenty of space in the room. Very nice bathroom ( although we prefer a walk in shower). I highly recommend this place.

Disliked: Prefer a walk in shower, but the tub shower is very manageable.

“Comfortable, lovely grand-dame of a place with beauty, elegance, and class. Fantastic location.”

Liked: A favorite place for our group! Rich decoration and setting is such a nice contrast to the Scandi-bare aesthetic that is so popular now. We had 3 rooms -- all were comfortable, clean, quiet, and charming. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Happy Hour setting was hip/cool and staff very welcoming. Breakfast was lovely. Cannot beat this location for convenient but quiet proximity to Arena area.

Disliked: All good!

“Top notch location in a classic hotel.”

Liked: Location was superb with the arena less than a 30sec walk away and a fantastic restaurant just across the street. Excellent service. We adored the classic feel of the hotel but may be seen as dated by some.

“Needs more love caring and upgrading.”

Liked: Location, buffet, service all good. 8/10 excellent air conditioning.

Disliked: Bathroom fixtures terrible. First no hot water at all, then poor shower pressure, could not shower without soaking half the bathroom. It’s an old hotel with lots of charm but they went cheap on remodeling and upgrading. I would not recommend.
