“Would not recommend the Basement Sweet Rooms”

Basement Sweet Room photos are not well represented. The mold odor was strong. The mini fridge was not cold enough. The indoor bathroom shower head was not functioning. The outdoor shower floor broke when I stepped on it lightly (see photo). The hotel manager apologized for all this but could not give us a free upgrade because the hotel was fully booked. I asked for a discount when we checked out. The manager said he would try to submit the request through Agoda. A discount is the least they can do, and he made it seem like it was difficult to accomplish. Overall, the hotel was not satisfactory.

“A very quiet hotel.”

This is a very tranquil hot spring hotel. Although it is up in the mountains, there are shuttle services available, and you can also call an Uber, which is very convenient. It is very peaceful up there, giving a very comfortable feeling. If you need food, shopping, or entertainment, it is also convenient to go down to Beitou. I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and hope to come again next time.

“Exceptional”

Liked: The quality, staff and location couldn’t be better! The personal onsen was a nice touch. I was lucky and got a room upgrade due to low occupancy. I would 100% come again. My only regret is not being able to stay longer.
