Hotel Du Globe Paris

Good location, staff were very friendly, but be aware that there's no elevator so you need to bring your luggage up the stairs.

My only issue is that there were only 2 bottles of water in the room, it’s not refilled per night of stay. And staff are not responsive in Agoda app. Other than that, it’s good for solo travelers who has been to Paris before. You get what you pay for.

Honestly, Paris is expensive. This is a good option for browsing the main attractions, for location i rate 10 out of 10. This is the price you pay for staying in 2nd Arrondissement.

Despite the good location, hauling luggage up the narrow stairs to the fourth-floor room was very difficult. The email I received stated that a receptionist would be on duty between 12 AM and 12 PM, yet the hotel had no reception desk at all; we had to check in and collect the key via a machine. Although the machine wasn't hard to use, we were a bit taken aback on the first day because we had expected a staff member to be present. The fourth-floor room—which we had struggled to reach—was tiny. It had a bathroom, but the toilet bowl was dirty; my spouse had to clean it. After using the shower, water leaked all the way into the bedroom. There was no wardrobe or coat rack in the room, so we were forced to keep our clothes in our suitcases the whole time. The area felt safe overall, and the location and proximity to the metro were good. I received no response from the hotel regarding a few questions I had emailed before the trip; communication was non-existent. Due to the lack of available staff and the issues I mentioned, I would never stay there again.

Just what you want for a couple of nights! Great location

Too much noise. Dark. Not nice… personal horrible

For the location in central Paris and the price it can’t really be beaten. We had a shared bathroom but don’t think shared as we never had to wait to use it and didn’t hear anyone! Only thing is if it’s a shared bathroom I would expect daily cleaning. Totally fine for the room not to be refreshed daily as you have to make cost savings somewhere but I would expect a communal bathroom to at least have a wipe down. We had a fridge freezer in our room which was a pleasant surprise, on a very busy central street but was completely quiet at night, apart from other guests which you could sometimes hear walking around. We never once saw anyone working there -not for check in or check out! It was very easy to do ourselves so no problems there. Good communication from the hotel. Overall I would probably stay again if I were on a budget and in Paris for just a couple of nights!

Will book this again for our next PFW season! Merci!!
