“Awesome Location - Luxe Hotel w/ pool and spa + dining.”
Liked: Wonderful luxe hotel right in the center of things. Staff is very helpful/professional and rooms are modern. Even though we were on the 2nd floor, the room was quiet thanks to insulated windows. The rooftop pool/bar has amazing views. Earlier in the day up there is probably better for older folks and families as the young hip set floods the place at night. Pulso by Eboca is an excellent restaurant right in the hotel on the lower level. Absolutely worth a visit. The spa/hydrotherapy space is pretty good for the additional fee, with some caveats (see below). Pro Tip: if you get an 80 min. massage, you get an hour in the hydrotherapy room included. The adequate workout room is open 24/7, though it is small - with equipment comparable to Courtyard Marriott with mood lighting.
Disliked: 30 Euros gets you an hour of access to the sprawling hydrotherapy space featuring a hot tub, cold plunge, ice room, steam room, sauna, and mist showers. After a long day of travel, we looked forward to the hot tub, only to discover the water temperature was about 28 degrees (82F). Water temp was much better the 2nd day - closer to 38 degrees (100F). Keep the facility honest and let them know right away if something is off. With massages, the staff is quite capable, even with a language barrier of english to spanish. The spa offers all kinds of new-agey massages with aroma-based oils (Arnica, Patchouli, etc.), but my wife wanted something neutral. The desk manager said they had coconut oil, but the masseuse had no inkling or idea where to find that when my wife had her massage. All things considered, this is a very nice clean spa and pricing is fair.

“With the exception of the first night, it was a very good stay.”
Liked: The food and location were excellent. The day staff was very professional and there were many places to eat within a block or two with many food choices.
Disliked: My room was not available on check in and the room had only one bed. Because it was my adult son and I, they send up extra sheet and suggested that I sleep on the floor! They did move us to the proper room the next day.

“Cozy, comfortable in the soul of the city”
Liked: Guys at the reception are very helpful and easy to communicate, they will answer all your questions and even share recommendations of places if needed. They have 3 elevators, in pick hours they can be slow, but nothing to worry about. My room was very comfortable with balcony which I used a lot especially in the slow mornings or if you decide to watch sunset from balcony, great pick. Bed and pillows are VERY COMFORTABLE, I slept like on clouds. They have roof top with very small pool, even tho on the photos look much bigger. I didn’t use it as roof top with pool was full of people, but this will be your preference to join the pool or not. Roof top is with beautiful view on the city and great for drinks and beautiful sunset. Location is perfect in soul of the city and everything you need is just there. I preferred to have breakfast outside of hotel so couldn’t say much about their breakfast.
Disliked: Guys who work at the bar are not really English speaking, they don’t know to give cocktails recommendations based on the alcohol you like or not. They don’t have some special drink that you can try. They social skills and communication can be improved for customers purposes. But the rooftop has very pretty view they no one should miss.

“Nice hotel in a fantastic location”
We enjoyed 3 nights right in the heart of Madrid. The hotel was good not great but in a perfect spot to access all the main attractions and historical sites most within walking distance. I guess you are paying for the location. The room was an inside room which was disappointing, particularly for the price. Madrid accommodation is expensive so overall we were happy and would consider staying again for the convenience and the roof top pool/bar and views.

“Overpriced, underserviced and unfriendly staff.”
Disliked: Hotel is in the city centre so it’s a very busy high foot traffic area, didn’t think the location was very special. When we arrived nobody helped with the bags, they seemed understaffed, there was only one person at the front desk and he wasn’t very friendly (we arrived at 6pm). The room was very small for 3 people and we paid a significant amount for the hotel but unfortunately was nothing special at all. The rooftop was nice though.
