Hotel Excelsior Karachi

So I first visited this hotel in 2020 when it first opened. Was a horrible experience. Decided to give it another chance. Things have improved. Stay was okay. Booked a twin room but wasn't given the one in the picture which included a sofa and city view. Did speak to reception who told me I got what I paid for but clearly I did not. Breakfast was okay, same as every other hotel. Told the maids not to clean our room without us in it but every time we went out they would clean it which was annoying. Also annoying was staff knocking on our door with fruit and other random things or asking if we need anything. Other then that room was clean but very small for a twin and I am pretty sure we was on top of kitchen. Last time in 2020 booked a twin which was double this size. Bathroom seemed incomplete. Other then that I would give it a total 3/5 but much improved from 2020. For the cost you could pay a little more and stay at PC etc. Unfortunately this second chance was enough for me to say I won't ever be booking here again due to room being ridiculously small (and hotel not fixing it) and the amount of times staff would knock on the door daily even after being told to stop (pretty sure they doing it for tips).

The hotel is clean and relatively new. But the rooms and especially bathrooms are very small. It is overpriced as per the facilities provided

The stay was good except for the noise and disturbance. The cleaning staff would knock on the door once in the morning and once at night to clean, even though there was a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door! If you didn't answer, the receptionist would call and interrupt your sleep to clean the room! The window wasn't closed tightly, which allowed dampness and some noise from the street to enter. In the morning, there were annoying noises of furniture being moved and work being done upstairs.

Clean and centrally located; Professional staff; Perfect room... Only improvement needed: pillows height is too high; one wakes up with neck pain... Plus breakfast presently is overpriced; Addition of a gym will make the place:10/10... All in all: Great work...

Liked: Its clean and affordable and there is strict rule of family environment

Disliked: Food needs to be improved

Had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Excelsior Karachi. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the lobby was also neat and welcoming. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The food quality was good, with reasonable prices as well. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

In this price, this level of hotel and location is hard to come by. It is not a luxury hotel but quite near in the price point. Room and service was very satisfactory and breakfast was nice too.

Comfortable stay
