Liked: Good value cute room bigger than expected

I hate to leave negative reviews, but the place was quite dirty, smelled like cigarettes (non-smoking room), and the bathroom REEKED of human waste. On top of that is was a 15 minute walk to the nearest train station and was surrounded by nothing but other love hotels. We got our room at an incredibly cheap rate, but decided to leave after a night because it wad just an unpleasant place to be.

I made a reservation for an overnight stay. Despite the short duration of my stay, the room was more than enough. The breakfast was also delicious. I felt bad for not being able to finish it. Next time, I would like to stay longer.

The first interaction wasn't bad, but it was interesting to say the least its our fault for not learning Japanese and I understand we are a burden there. What we did find troubling was the room, when we first arrived every surface was uhhh greasy or other times sticky, even the shower head. I thought we reserved a non smoking room as I have high nicotine sensitivity, sadly the room was very much a smoking room from the air purifier and ac to the toilet. There was no way to get rid of it and I became unwell from it. Otherwise staff when we actually did see them at the end they were nice. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you need something for a "quick night"... I was unaware due to my own lack of due diligence.

Disliked: Jedyna wada to tak naprawdę personel nie rozumiał angielskiego ale udalo sie porozumieć przez tłumacza Zdarzyło im sie pomylić śniadania Łazienka było trochę brudna z kamienia z wody ale nie przeszkadzalo to przy pobycie każde pomieszczenie bylo bardzo duże więc miało prawo być kilka niedociągnięć

There are many hotels around, but this one had the best cost and the room's interior design was great. I stayed for two nights and the staff's service was excellent. When I visit Kyoto again, I will stay here. Thank you to the staff. Thanks to you, I had an enjoyable trip to Kyoto.
