Hotel Gounod

Liked: Location was great hotel was beautiful staff were great very accommodating

Liked: The hotel is in a great and very convenient location. Half way between the shore and the train station in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood surrounded by beautiful buildings. There’s some local bakeries around the corner for your morning coffee and croissants that elevate the “local living” experience. Highly recommended! Finally, even though the building is historic, the renovation is top notch and the rooms are comfortable and very quiet.

Liked: Excellent boutique hotel central for the railway station and centre and promenade. It was lovely and clean and our room was exceptionally quiet for such a central location. The staff on arrival were friendly and helpful and although there is no bar or seating area our balcony was a lovely place to sit in the evening. I would say a room with a seated balcony is really worth it. We used the pool at the sister hotel only once and although a lovely area this is very small with only room for around 6 Sunbeds and the pool was not heated but we found this still to be a nice afternoon but if your looking for more relaxation and pool then you may struggle in busy periods. Overall this is a nice clean hotel in a central location at a good price point for a short break in Nice

Disliked: No bar or seating area to relax in

Liked: location, space, service

Liked: Amazing all round and great location! Safe

Disliked: Maybe the shower because the radiator didn’t work in bathroom and I felt like the heat limit could have been higher

Liked: The hotel was in a good location. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The room was very spacious and so was the bathroom. The staff are very friendly and kindly made recommendations for local restaurants and places to see.

Disliked: The rooms are dark. Our room was over looking the road and we could hear sounds from the road like a bike driving past at night which woke up me twice during our stay.

Liked: The beautiful bathrooms with a bath

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Beautiful property located in central Nice

Disliked: We had informed the property we were coming on our honeymoon and I would have expected a hotel like this to pay attention to these details.
