Checkin: Very transactional. For cc, there’s No tap, so you have to physically insert your card to the terminal which is so weird considering I’ve stayed at no name hotels and even they have an Apple Pay reader. Room and Facilities: Very basic hotel and smells like old hotel. Washroom shower curtain smells like it hasn’t been replaced in a while. Whats also horrifying is how much stain are in the bed sheets. There were even 2 drops of blood on the sheets. I requested to have it changed, when the room service arrived, they just handed me the sheets to replace them myself - I’ve never experienced this ever. I’ve attached photos as proof. Checkout: As how the stay has been progressing, the check out didn’t disappoint. I specifically told the person that I am checking out so I told him my last name but wanted to see my ID, so I showed it to him. He said he wanted to see the reference as it was booked through Agoda so I showed him but then he asked and grabbed my phone to check for himself. Turns out he was ‘checking me in’ which was confusing because I am pretty sure that it would tell him through his system if I am already checked in or not. Anyway, he started checking me out then asked me to wait for 10-15 mins to check the room to check out and refund the hold on my debit card. And at that point, I was just totally convinced that I was staying at a motel not a hotel. If there was something missing in the room, they could’ve done so without having me to wait in the lobby as that is the whole point of putting a hold on your card and that’s also the reason why they ask for a card on file during check in. I don’t expect much, but I expected a decent service, something that’s at par with a ‘Holiday Inn’ brand. If I knew this was the service I’d be getting, I should’ve just stayed at Comfort Inn or Best Western, at least I get to have a free breakfast.

Free shutter bus to the hotel which takes only 5 mins. The only downside is our washroom slide door is very hard to close. Other than that it’s very good deal if you don’t have to go to downtown every day.

24 hour free airport shuttle. Not a lot around the hotel. A bit far from the city, there is a train from the airport about $13. Uber is about $42

Disliked: Breakfast should be included. They charge extra for breakfast.

Very pleasant stay! The hotel was super clean, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I didn’t have breakfast during my stay, so I can’t comment on that, but everything else was excellent. I also found an unbeatable price on Agoda, which made the experience even better. Overall, a great stay and excellent value for the money. I would definitely stay here again!
