“French”
I have always been interested in the appearance and ambiance of the place, and I finally got to stay here. Perhaps due to its altitude of 1060m, the air is clear, and the clientele mostly consists of quiet foreigners. The lobby offers pleasant services such as unlimited tea and wine at different times, making it a comfortable place to relax. I had intended to have Japanese cuisine for dinner, but due to the unclear display on Agoda, I mistakenly ended up with French. However, everything was fresher and tastier than I had expected from the reviews! The wine was great too! After dinner, I had a refill at the wine bar, enjoyed the private bath, and had free ramen, indulging in drinks and the bath. The showerhead in the large bath was Refa, and the bed was Simmons, which made me quite happy. However, it was a bit disappointing that the water temperature was lukewarm, possibly catering to foreigners, and I wondered if the outdoor bath would ever reach the heat of a hot spring. Well, I guess it can't be helped. The customer service at the front desk and in the restaurant was excellent, making me want to come back every year! I think it would be a great place for those who want to spend time in a quiet place away from everyday疲れ.

“Hotels that make your trip to Hokkaido even better.”
This is a very good hotel. Of course, it's a bit dated, but still, breakfast and dinner can be either a Japanese or French course dining option, and you can choose between the two. The Japanese option fills up quickly. For such dining, with the best breakfast, hot springs, and Daeseol Mountain, it's just 200,000 won per person, which is a bargain. I recommend it.

“Trapped in paradise”
Its too remote. The restaurants have set menus and breakfast is the same. The food is edible but after two days the food got less appealing. The snack store has junk food nothing healthy or fresh. The other hotel restaurants will NOT serve you. The ONLY TWO things that was exceptional is the onsen spa and the proximity to world class hiking. I would not recommend staying more than two days to go hiking or you will get cabin fever. Come with a rental car the taxis and buses are not reliable. The staff was nice but the really had so little to offer.

“Rather Pleasant Stay”
Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this resort. It’s in a remote location but it’s great if you want to spend time exploring the hikes around Mount Asahidake. The hotel is rather dated but it’s kept clean and organised. We opted for the French cuisine on both nights and we thoroughly enjoyed the menu presented. Food quality was excellent and the staff were warm and professional.

Liked: great location, just minutes drive from the Asahidake ropeway. nice and big rooms. clean, friendly staff. great buffe breakfast.
Disliked: no restaurants near the place. need to plan your meals. closest town is about 30 min. you can have dinner in the place but it's very very expensive.

“The food is delicious.”
The sightseeing in Biei and Furano is off-season, so it's better to stay just one night here, which is a bit disappointing in terms of location. Taking the Asahidake cable car and enjoying the lake can be done in about an hour and a half. There’s not much else to do here, so if you're looking to relax, it's nice. If you plan to go down to the town for meals, it takes 40 minutes, so it's better to have everything sorted at the hotel. However, the food was very delicious, and the hot springs were great. The staff was friendly, and during the happy hour from 8 to 10 PM, you can drink unlimited wine, which was a lovely atmosphere that matched well with the people traveling. Overall, it feels cozy and warm, like a mountain lodge with a pleasant hot spring, and I would definitely recommend it and want to visit again.
